| In recent years,university laboratory accidents occur occasionaly,especially the explosion of Municipal and Environmental Engineering Laboratory of Beijing Jiaotong University on Dec 28,2018,which exposed the loopholes of safety education and management for laboratory.In order to understand the current situation of laboratory safety education and management in our school,this paper systematically investigated the effectiveness of safety education,safety knowledge and safety management status,in order to provide basic data support for the formulation of promotion strategies for laboratory safety education and management.The investigation results of safety awareness,attitude and laboratory anxiety of undergraduates and postgraduates in the school show that there are significant differences between genders and grades in laboratory anxiety,with female higher than that of male and postgraduate higher than that of undergraduates.Laboratory anxiety and safety awareness have a significant positive impact on safety attitude.According to the research results,the following promotion strategies are proposed.University should pay attention to the psychological construction of students,and the sustainability of safety education,and create an intrinsic safety atmosphere.The investigation results of laboratory safety knowledge of undergraduates and postgraduates in the school show that students are apt to confuse the pictogram of oxidizer and flammable.Some students still think that some hazardous chemicals are not toxic.43.3% and 68.2% of the students did not know the correct disposal of strong acid spill and the location of fire extinguisher.For the study of warning signal,juniors are the worst.For the properties of common chemicals,male students are better than female,and sophomores are the worst.The students from safety engineering major show poor performance in the mastery of the properties of common chemicals and emergency disposal safety knowledge.Based on the above results,the following strategies are proposed.The population of the Globally Harmonized System of Classification and Labelling of Chemicals(GHS),and Safety Data Sheet(SDS)knowledge should be strengthened.The management of green hazardous chemicals and the refined education and testing should be implemented.The investigation results of system,accident,experiment teaching and equipment management in the school show that there are significant differences between genders and majors in the management of accidents and experiment teaching.The average score of female students is lower than that of male students,and the performance of the students of safety engineering is not well.The system,experiment teaching and equipment management have a significant positive impact on accident management.The model analysis of Amos shows that the score of accident management is the lowest.According to the statistical analysis,the strategies of different groups of multi-level management and laboratory safety grid management are proposed. |
