Peking Opera is known as the quintessence of China and one of the world’s three major performance systems.The completion of Peking Opera performance cannot be separated from the costumes of Peking Opera.As an inseparable part of the art of Peking Opera,the costumes of Peking Opera themselves also have important cultural value,aesthetic value and craft value.After a long period of development,the costumes of traditional Peking Opera have formed a complete and mature management and application system,presenting stylized modeling characteristics and aesthetic characteristics.On the stage of Peking Opera,the stylized costumes of Peking Opera have been attached great importance to by Liyuan Opera because of their distinct functions of "different roles,distinguishing the seniority,ranking and junior,revealing the character and creating the situation".With stylization as the breakthrough point,this paper attempts to study the aesthetic characteristics of stylization of Peking Opera costumes by using the theories of aesthetics and opera,combining with the methods of literature research and image analysis,and discusses the relationship between the formation of stylization of Peking Opera costumes and its stylized expression,and clarifies its value by combining with the traditional Chinese aesthetic thoughts.First of all,this paper makes an overall investigation of the interaction between Beijing Opera performance and Beijing Opera costumes,and then,based on this,focuses on analyzing the stylized features of Beijing Opera costumes in terms of shape,color,pattern and other aspects.Combined with aesthetic analysis,this paper discusses the stylized meaning of Beijing Opera costumes from three aspects of craft,function and form.This paper holds that the significance of stylized costumes in Peking Opera lies in refining and sublimating the primitive and natural forms in real life into more concentrated,distinct and intense artistic expression.Secondly,stylized costumes can highlight the role positioning of the characters,which is easy for the audience to identify and understand,and strengthen the artistic characteristics of Peking Opera performance.Finally,due to the existence of the program,many categories of spiritual creation in the traditional stage art become perceptible and easy to grasp,which is not only conducive to the inheritance of predecessors’ experience,but also can combine their own life experience to create new artistic images and new programs after mastering the internal laws of the program. |
