The period of the Republic of China(1912-1945)was a special period in the history of China.During this period,China realized the leap and transformation from a feudal society to a modern society.During this period,Harbin realized the leap and transformation from a small fishing village to a city.In the period of the Republic of China,Harbin was greatly influenced by Russian and Japanese culture,and its urban growth and urban form were different from other cities in China.Under the social background of the spread of Western learning to the east and the wide opening of the country,the construction of the Middle East Railway led to the rapid development of urbanization in Harbin.The thought,culture and social life of the people were influenced by the western culture,and the change of clothing was the first to gain the style of the people.After the occupation,Harbin survived tenaciously under the authoritarian rule of the Japanese puppet and colonial oppression.Under the complex background of cultural integration and social reform,Harbin women's makeup,dress and posture have undergone tremendous changes.The girls here are famous for their fashionable dressing these days.In this paper,from the visual image of Harbin left during the period of the republic of China,combing period of the republic of China Harbin women dress features,combined with the relevant written materials,analysis during the period of the republic of China in Harbin female aesthetic change,explore during the period of the republic of China Harbin women clothing and environment,society,economy,culture,system,through the analysis of the external performance in Harbin during the period of the republic of China women,traced back,read at a deeper level of inner factors and cultural connotations.
