Research On Female Dress Image In Beijing Area During The Republic Of China

Costume changes are a reflection of the cultural and social features of an era.This article mainly uses literature research methods,image analysis method,and comparative analysis methods to focus on the characteristics of the changes in Beijing female dress,and analyzes the image of female dress and the spirit of women in Beijing during the Republic of China.Taking modern newspapers and periodicals as literature materials,throght the pictures of female etiquette occasion published in local mainstream pictorials,systematic analysis of the modeling characteristics and typical characteristics of Beijing women in different periods.The spiritual temperament and cultural connotation of Beijing women during the Republic of China were glimpsed from the appearance of clothing.Finally,this article starts from three aspects of political change,economic development and new women’s thinking,and systematically analyzes the cause and cultural connotation of the image of female dress costumes in Beijing.The costume image of female dresses in Beijing during the Republic of China not only embodies the conservativeness and stability endowed by traditional culture,but also embodies the advanced nature with the characteristics of the times,which is a unified expression of tradition and modernity.
