In the context of national supply-side reform,deleveraging and capacity reduction,the cash flow of iron and steel enterprises is the key to ensure their normal and sustainable operation and the guarantee of high-quality development.As the largest iron and steel enterprise in Hunan Province,facing the fierce competition in the domestic market,the continuous rise of raw materials and the high pressure of environmental protection,the demand of capital quantity is gradually increasing,the enterprise has a long way to go to carry out the cash flow management.Valin Iron and steel enterprise ranks the fourth in China's iron and steel industry.If we want to upgrade intelligent manufacturing and create an industrial pattern of “one industry leading,cluster development”,cash flow management needs to be optimized to ensure the smooth progress of the three major changes of quality,efficiency and power.On the basis of clarifying the research significance of cash flow benchmarking management in Valin Iron and steel enterprises,the paper summarizes the relevant research at home and abroad,and fully analyzes the current situation of cash flow benchmarking management in Valin Iron and steel enterprises,from the ability to obtain cash,profitability,operating capacity,solvency and financial flexibility of the five aspects of standard management.According to the situation of 2016-2018,we found that the cash flow management of Valin steel is the weakest in profitability,cash Ability,operating ability and debt-paying ability have fluctuated greatly,and financial flexibility has performed well in the past three years.At present,there are some problems in the cash flow benchmarking management of Valin Iron and steel enterprise,such as the formalization of the cash flow benchmarking management,the large fluctuation of the cash flow management index and the inadequate control of the cash flow risk,the main reason is the management and staff of the cash flow management awareness is weak,cash flow integrated management capacity is weak,lack of effective risk early-warning mechanism.Finally,in order to further improve the cash flow management,the countermeasures include: improving the basic ideas of cash flow management,optimizing the cash flow budget mechanism,improving the cash flow risk early warning mechanism,improving the cash flow management ability,improving the cash flow management standard management.
