Huizhou cake,as one of the regional characteristics of Huizhou food culture,has a long history and is inextricably linked with Huizhou rural folk culture.However,with the change of economic environment and the continuous improvement of people's quality of life,the functionality of cake packaging is gradually expanding,which is no longer just to meet people's material requirements,Simply staying on the protection of cake carrying and transportation,it becomes the spiritual product of Huizhou life aesthetics and catering characteristic aesthetics,so that consumers can have an emotional experience while tasting cakes,so as to spread the cake culture of Huizhou and achieve the purpose of promoting cake sales."Hu Xingtang" as a representative of Huizhou regional culture and customs of traditional cake brand,its brand has a long history,sweet taste,loved by the majority of consumers.However,through the research,it is found that the cake packaging design of the brand in the market is not only lack of uniqueness,but also relatively low brand cultural awareness,which can not enhance consumers' desire to buy.Therefore,it is an important and urgent issue for "Hu Xingtang"how to endow Huizhou cake packaging with artistic aesthetic feeling of cultural attribute,how to correctly adhere to innovation in inheriting Huizhou food culture,how to show the charm of ancient Huizhou in the form of modern packaging,and how to elaborate Huizhou cake culture which is most in line with modern people's aesthetic.Based on this,this paper is divided into six chapters.The first chapter is the introduction,which firstly expounds the research background and research status of cake packaging under the development of catering culture,and clarifies the research purpose and innovation.In the second chapter,on the basis of the illustration and packaging related theory,the product packaging illustration is analyzed,and the expression forms and advantages of the integration of illustration and product packaging are summarized,so as to provide a theoretical basis for this design.The third chapter gives a detailed overview of "huxingtang" cake brand culture,analyzes the current situation of "huxingtang" cake packaging,and deeply explores the direction of innovation and development.The fourth chapter through the field research and questionnaire survey,combined with the data of"huxingtang" pastry packaging design positioning,discusses the design principles and methods of illustration in "huxingtang" pastry packaging,forming a unique pastry packaging visual language.The fifth chapter starts with the illustration design of "huxingtang" pastry packaging,which shows the modeling elements of Huizhou pastry production technology and the moral expression of folk customs in the form of illustration and applies it to the packaging design,so as to produce a strong visual effect of pastry packaging,so as to complete the innovative development of "huxingtang" pastry packaging.The sixth chapter summarizes the research results and the full text.The application of illustration in cake packaging makes "huxingtang" cake packaging not only have the characteristics of food culture,but also more in line with the development of the times and the market.It strengthens consumers' perception of its brand culture,and also provides new artistic vitality for other cake packaging design to integrate into food culture.
