Analysis Of Driving Factors And Supply Chain Path Of Coal Consumption In China

In recent years,with the rapid progress of China's urbanization and industrialization,China's total energy consumption continues to grow.The energy endowment of "rich coal,poor oil and little gas" makes the consumption of coal resources account for 60%-70%of the total energy use in China.The coal-based energy consumption structure has supported China's rapid economic and social development,but the crude development mode has also led to a series of problems,such as intensified resource constraints and prominent ecological and environmental problems,which further increase the pressure on China to adjust the structure and improve energy efficiency.Although China has taken relevant policies and measures to control the use of coal resources,the rebound of coal demand in recent years shows that the road to reduce the use of coal resources is not smooth,we need to pay more attention to the specific situation of coal consumption,so as to better complete China's energy structure adjustment and reduce coal consumption of energy policy.This article in the current our country coal use in each department,on the basis of using the input-output method,structural decomposition analysis,path analysis method on the driving factors of the coal resources consumption in China and the critical path for the empirical analysis,to draw the main cause of China's coal resources consumption growth and consumption structure and flow direction of coal resources,to better suit the remedy to the case according to the actual status,realistic and scientific and efficient policy Suggestions,realize the high quality development of energy economy.Firstly,this paper analyzes the driving factors of coal consumption in China by means of structural decomposition analysis,and finds that economic scale expansion is an important driving factor of coal consumption growth during the study period,and the decline of coal resource consumption intensity is an important factor to restrain the growth of coal consumption.Further study found that investment was the important type of demand driving China's coal consumption growth,followed by household consumption and exports.Secondly,based on the analysis of the critical path of coal consumption in China based on the consumption side,it is found that the investment demand mainly indirectly causes coal consumption in high-energy sectors such as Electricity,Gas and Water Supply through the direct demand for Construction.Household consumption mainly produces coal consumption through direct demand for Electricity,Gas and Water Supply.Finally,based on a global perspective on key path of China's coal consumption caused by export demand study found that the global demand for intermediate inputs is an important reason for the high coal content in exports.It mainly indirectly generates coal consumption for product demand in sectors such as Coke,Refined Petroleum and Nuclear Fuel,and the United States is the largest country in the export coal content.Based on the above findings,in order to effectively control the growth of coal consumption in China,this paper puts forward relevant policy suggestions from three aspects:influencing factors,demand factors and responsible departments.
