There are many figures in the changes of Vimalakirti Sutra in Dunhuang murals,which is a common Buddhist theme in Dunhuang murals in the Tang Dynasty.There are many pictures of kings and princes worshiping Buddhism and listening to sutras.The costumes of various ethnic groups in the pictures are one of the important materials for studying their families.In the Tang Dynasty,Hu suit prevailed,and the concept of Hu suit was broad and vague.It is helpful to understand the style and ethnic relationship of Hu suit in different dynasties by researching the costumes of these characters.This paper attempts to discuss the historical origin and forming experience of the transformation of Vimalakirti Sutra in Dunhuang frescoes,compare the field investigation with the literature and the frescoes and terracotta figures in the same period,and combine them with the cultural relics unearthed in Xinjiang,deeply understand the composition of the first clothes of the minority ethnic groups in the transformation of Vimalakirti Sutra,analyze the characteristics of the first clothes of the princes in various countries,and confirm the The first costume with ethnic minority characteristics in the variation painting is an important symbolic symbol,which enables the later generations to take the style of the first costume as an important evidence to judge the identity of each ethnic group when interpreting the related murals.The content of this paper is divided into three parts: the first part is the overview of Vimalakirti Sutra and the transmutation of Vimalakirti Sutra in Dunhuang;the second part is the analysis of the first costumes of ethnic minorities in the transmutation of Vimalakirti Sutra,mainly taking the statues of princes and Buddhas in different countries in the Tang Dynasty as examples,analyzing the similar first costumes among the caves,and combining with the patterns of the first costumes,trying to analyze their families;the third part is the transmutation of Vimalakirti Sutra in Dunhuang The analysis of the first clothing and the unearthed cultural relics in Xinjiang area,and the relationship between the shape and the similar first clothing.The conclusion of this paper is based on the first costumes of the kings and princes of different countries in the transformation of Vimalakirti Sutra in Dunhuang murals.It expounds the analysis of the first costumes of Uighur,Koguryo and the figures in the murals of Mogao Grottoes,as well as the analysis of the cultural relics unearthed in Xinjiang and the contemporary main ethnic minorities,and concludes the hat style performance of Trident crown,peach crown,bird feather crown,huntuo hat,corrugating hat,curled eave felt hat,etc Change and development status.
