In recent years,the revival of traditional culture has led to the universal popularization of the of Buddha’s life and culture.Urbanization,the transformation of modern economic culture and the rejuvenation of etiquette have brought new opportunities and new requirements for the development of Buddha furniture.According to the observation of the domestic Buddha ware market,Buddha furniture has been following the antiquity of ancient Ming and Qing dynasties.This model inherits the traditional furniture manufacturing industry,and it lacks or even neglects the real needs of the Buddha furniture.Simple imitation cannot meet the expected value of the present young people on the Buddha.Homogeneous Buddha furniture cannot bring competitiveness to enterprises.Therefore,it is the focus of this article to develop Buddha furniture products(keeping the cultural and historical features of Buddha furniture)centered on family Buddha users.The full text is divided into seven chapters.The first chapter is an introduction to the definition of Buddha furniture and to determine the research object of this article.Mainly combing,comparing the theoretical research related to the Buddha furniture,made clear the value and significance of the research.The second chapter analyzes the inevitability of the development of the Buddha’s furniture from three aspects of society,economy and technology,and then extracts the valueand the opportunity.Through the typical case analysis of the Buddha’s furniture,it summarizes the trend of the development of the Buddha’s furniture design and thus helps the design in practice.The third chapter divides the Buddha’s furniture into three types,respectively combs the historical development of the three types of Buddha’s furniture,explains the diversity of the history of the Buddha’s furniture and the general rigidity of the contemporary Buddha’s furniture design thinking.And summarizes the status of domestic Buddha furniture features.The fourth chapter is the part of user research and analysis.First,through the research questionnaire of target users,the author summarizes the three types of user behavior in Buddha space,namely,the support behavior,the worship behavior and the meditation behavior.Through in-depth observation and analysis of the relationship between user behavior,etiquette furniture and space,attempts are made to extract the needs of home believers(users).Through the study of the previous three chapters,the fifth chapter summarizes and proposes the design principles and methods of Buddha furniture to form an effective design specification.The sixth chapter is part of the design practice,targeting young users in large and medium-sized cities,to determine the practical content,including Buddhist niches,worship chairs and tables.The seventh chapter is the conclusion,and illustrates the shortcomings and prospects of this article.This paper focuses on the etiquette behavior of young users.Based on user-centered integrated new product development theory,this article explores the inheritance and innovation of Buddha furniture,explores the cultural connotation of Buddhism,and provides creative ideas for the development of Buddha furniture.
