Xinping Huayao Dai is located at the foot of mountain Ailao,with women like making a color belt around their waist,and it is famous in the world.Because of this colorful belt,this Dai branch was called”Huayao Dai”by others.Among the Huayao Dai beautiful costumes,the teenage girls dress is most representative,which is designed for the major festivals and activities,and can be called “dress up”.Some experts and scholars spoke highly of Huayao Dai dress costumes as“body art, with history”.Since ancient times the Dai dress was introduced, and from the beginning of the Tang Dynasty, the characteristics of Dai dress, skirt was handed down.In the development of history,Huayao Dai costumes in addition to keep the original dress features, also formed its own unique style. Through the investigation and study, the author found that the study of Huayao Dai more focused on the clothing shape design.The research of the culture connotation and the reproductive worship was lacked.This paper based on the research of Huayao Dai costumes,emphatically analyze the cultural connotation embodied in the dress, as well as the concept of reproductive worship.This paper is based on the perspective of Anthropology,fully exploring all kinds of information,and by using the methods of field investigation,expert interview and other methods.In order to explain the formal beauty and the connotation as well as the functional beauty of the Huayao Dai costumes.The paper is divided into four chapters.The first chapter explains the Huayao Dai costumes has color beauty, which can be summarized as dark and heavy colors.In the color combination has the following characteristics: orderliness, proportion and rhythm characteristics.The second chapter explains the shape of the Huayao Dai costumes,including accessories(headdress, silver, as well as the waist styles) beauty and style(the different of coat and skirt of Dai Ya, Dai Ka, Dai Sa).Its modeling characteristics are: fusionpoint line,emphasis the local and global.The third chapter explains the aesthetic connotation of the Huayao Dai costumes, mainly including the expression of historical and cultural accumulation, the concept of ethnic identity and religious emotion. The accumulation of historical culture is reflected in the national migration and people still keep black dress aesthetics.The concept of ethnic identity is mainly embodied in the common historical memory,cultural elements and social customs and habits and so on.Specifically refers to the internal recognition of Dai and the relationship between Huayao Dai and other ethnic groups. The expression of religious emotions is mainly reflected in the worship of mountains, water and gods.The fourth chapter is the innovation point. Through interpretation the major traditionalfestivals and their cultural spirit, dig out the Huayao Dai costumes applicability function and the embodiment of reproductive worship.In summary, in addition to luxury features,Huayao Dai costumes also has rich cultural connotation. As a non-material cultural heritage, Huayao Dai costumes should be valued and inheritance, so the research is meaningful and valuable.
