A Study Of Tibetan Costume Culture

Tibetan is one of China’s 56 ethnic groups,with a long history and a large population,calling themselves "fan".According to historical records,Tibetans are the descendants of Qiang people.Mainly inhabited in Tibet,Sichuan,Qinghai,Gansu and Yunnan,Tibetan lived in the Qinghai Tibet plateau for a long history and continuous cultural heritage.Tibetan clothing is simple and elegant,beautiful and practical,unique and aesthetic,which is a shining treasure in the treasure house of Chinese clothing culture.Tibetan costume is one of the research categories of Tibetology.As a material culture,Tibetan costume culture contains rich research materials and connotation,which is an important part of Tibetology research.Gannan Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture is known as the Tibetan region closest to the mainland.It is located in the junction of Gansu,Qinghai and Sichuan provinces where the Qinghai Tibet Plateau and the Loess Plateau are in transition.There are 24 ethnic groups living here,including Tibetan,Han,Hui,Tu and Mongolian.Based on the traditional Tibetan culture,Gannan Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture integrates the culture of other ethnic groups.The multi-ethnic community makes Gannan Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture unique Characteristic Tibetan culture.This paper also aims to promote Tibetan culture by promoting the in-depth development of Tibetan culture research.This paper is mainly based on the research of Tibetan costumes in Xiahe,Gannan,and extensively collects documents and materials.By going to the library to look up materials,books,museums to collect and shoot first-hand materials and pictures,and by means of multimedia information channels such as the Internet,this paper analyzes various first-hand or indirect materials such as texts,pictures,audio-visual,archaeology,etc The historical origin,characteristics,shape and type of ethnic costumes.Secondly,on the basis of mastering a large number of Tibetan costumes,this paper studies the materials,selects effective materials that can reflect the uniqueness of Tibetan costumes in Xiahe,Gannan,and makes in-depth research and theoretical analysis on these materials.Third,through the combination of on-the-spot investigation and visiting the local Tibetans,we have deeply explored the Tibetan clothing of Xiahe in Gannan.This paper makes an in-depth analysis and Research on the Tibetan costume of Xiahe in Gannan by using the method of field investigation of ethnology.Finally,on the basis of analysis and research,the elements of Xiahe Tibetan clothing in Gannan are extracted,transformed and redesigned,and the methods of direct operation,breaking up and reorganization,and re creation are used in modern clothing design to show the cultural connotation of Xiahe Tibetan clothing in Gannan.
