Personal cloud storage services are favored by many Internet users with the advantage of storing data anytime and anywhere,but frequent privacy leaks and data security incidents occur in the process of using personal cloud storage services,which not only pose threats to users’ personal safety and property losses,but also reduce users’ willingness to use and cause great losses to the reputation of cloud storage service providers.Therefore,it is important to study the privacy protection in personal cloud storage services to promote personal cloud storage service providers to improve the level of privacy protection,increase users’ willingness to pay to use,and promote the sustainable privacy protection development of personal cloud storage services.The sustainable development of privacy protection in personal cloud storage services requires the joint maintenance and operation of the participants.Currently,most scholars have explored the privacy protection of personal cloud storage services from the perspectives of technological innovation and users’ privacy perceptions respectively,and the participating subjects studied from these two perspectives are relatively single,lacking cooperation and synergy between the participating subjects on the development of privacy protection.Based on the above deficiencies,this paper attempts to study the privacy protection input of personal cloud storage participating subjects from the perspective of dynamic evolution and Based on these shortcomings,this paper attempts to study the privacy protection input and privacy protection regulatory decision behavior of personal cloud storage participants from a dynamic evolutionary perspective.The main contents and innovations of this paper are as follows.First,we construct an evolutionary game model between personal cloud storage users and service providers considering privacy protection inputs,add the privacy protection input gain growth factor to quantify the privacy gains of both sides of the game,analyze the evolutionary stabilization strategies of both sides in the process of participating in the privacy protection of personal cloud storage services,explore the influence of different factors on the evolutionary stabilization strategies of the system,and finally use MATLAB to conduct numerical simulations to verify the model’s validity.Second,in order to investigate the influence of reward and punishment regulation mechanism on the privacy protection strategy choice of personal cloud storage service providers,we introduce government regulation mechanism,construct the evolutionary game model of personal cloud storage service providers and government regulation department,obtain the system evolutionary stability strategy in the process of personal cloud storage service privacy protection,and analyze the influence of different strength of reward and punishment mechanism and other related influencing factors on the privacy protection strategy of personal cloud storage service providers.The impact of the strategy on the privacy protection of personal cloud storage service providers is analyzed.Finally,the validity of the model is tested by using MATLAB.Two conclusions are obtained in this paper.The first part of the study shows that the strategy choice between personal cloud storage users and service providers is mainly influenced by various factors such as the growth coefficient of privacy protection revenue,input cost,and free-rider revenue of both parties,etc.If the profit growth coefficient is very small,users will not choose to pay and service providers will not choose to actively protect user information.As the profit growth coefficient increases,both parties will promote the development of privacy protection for personal cloud storage services with a higher probability.The second part of the study concludes that under a static reward and punishment mechanism,both government regulators and service providers oscillate around a central point and there is no evolutionary stabilization strategy for the system.The evolutionary process of the system under the dynamic reward and static punishment mechanisms is a closed loop with periodic motion.Under both the static reward-dynamic punishment mechanism and the dynamic reward-punishment mechanism,both personal cloud storage service providers and government regulators tend to reach an evolutionary equilibrium point,but the dynamic reward-punishment mechanism is more effective in promoting personal cloud storage service providers to actively protect user information.The findings of the study have good theoretical and practical implications for effectively promoting the willingness of personal cloud storage users to pay for use,service providers to actively protect user information,and government regulators to strictly supervise.
