The Shanlin construction workstation in Baotou City(hereafter called the Shanlin workstation)is located in the north of Qingshan District of Baotou City and the south foot of Daqingshan Mountain.It is a large state-owned forest farm in western Inner Mongolia.Its business scope is all located in Daqingshan National Nature Reserve of Inner Mongolia.As the main battlefield of forestry work in Qingshan District,the Shanlin workstation makes a valuable contribution to the construction of ecological civilization,the development of forestry industry and the ecological restoration of nature reserves.This thesis is based on the data of the forest resource protection and utilization in2007 and 2017,through statistical analysis,seven factors related to the forest resources are selected,including forest area,forest accumulation,forest coverage,canopy density,origin,dominant tree species and age structure.From the three aspects of the forest resource quantity,the forest resource structure and the forest resource quality,the dynamic changes of the forest resources and the reasons of the changes are analyzed.At the same time,the thesis points out the problems existing in the forest resource management of the Shanlin workstation according to the data of local investigation and visit.Finally,it puts forward reasonable and targeted suggestions.The main results of this thesis are as follows:(1)The dynamic changes of the forest resources from 2007 to 2017: The total area of the forest land decreased from 14511.0 hm~2 to 12744.3 hm~2,decreased 1766.7 hm~2;the total volume of the standing wood increased from 25283 m~3 to 40738 m~3,increased by15455 m~3;the forest coverage increased from 17.50% to 28.70%,increased by11.20%.Among them,the area of the arbor forest increased 1099.3 hm~2,and the accumulation increased by 14199 m~3;the canopy density of the arbor forest decreased from 0.3 to 0.2;the natural forest area increased 387.4 hm~2,and the artificial forest area increased by711.9 hm~2;the dominant species increased from 5 species to 6 species;the area of the young,the medium and the over mature forests increased,with an increase of 828.0 hm~2,1.4 hm~2 and 98.7 hm~2,respectively.The average volume per hectare of the arbor forest increased from 16.5 m~3/ hm~2 to 20.8 m~3/ hm~2,and the average growth per hectare increased from 0.5 m~3/ hm~2 to 0.8 m~3/ hm~2,which means the quality of the forest resources improves a lot.(2)Based on the analysis results of the dynamic changes of the forest resources in the Shanlin workstation,combined with the investigation and the visiting data in the local area,the thesis points out five problems existing in the forest management,which are that the forest is in low quality and unreasonable structure;The level of the forest management is not high and many problems need to be solved urgently;The implementation of the afforestation plots is difficult,and the ecological construction is more difficult;The forest monitoring network is not perfect,and the monitoring capacity needs to be strengthened;The awareness of the forest protection is weak,and forest destruction still occurs.In view of the above-mentioned problems,countermeasures are proposed one by one,which are overall management to improve the quality of forests,multi-measures to enhance the level of the forest management,scientific and technological support to tap the potential of the afforestation,factor support to improve the system of the scientific research,monitoring and strengthen the consciousness of the forest protection.
