It was pointed out in National Program for Implementation of Vocational Education Reform that training high-quality workers and technical and skilled personnel would be focused on.The fourth session of the 13 th National People's Congress also put forward that professional upgrading and digital transformation should become the support of high-quality development,and the re-understanding and construction of knowledge should become the main means of learning.Basal Biochemistry,the key basic discipline of relative majors,has the characteristics for its content is complicated and the concepts are abstract.Students have certain difficulty in understanding.Using the form of visual representation in knowledge delivering can improve the speed of knowledge dissemination,so as to help students understand well the relevant knowledge.Therefore,this thesis firstly applies visual representation form to the teaching practice of Basal Biochemistry course in secondary vocational school,and then study the effectiveness of this teaching approach.The main research contents are as follows:1.Teaching design and practice of visual representation: On the basis of combing the related theories of visual representation,guided by dual coding theory,cognitive theory of multimedia learning,visual thinking theory,schema theory,and constructivism,the knowledge of the subject is divided into conceptual law knowledge,model knowledge and experimental knowledge according to the characteristics of Basal Biochemistry.According to the visual representation form of knowledge,the corresponding teaching design is fabricated and one-semester teaching practice are held.2.Investigation on current teaching situation: In the early stage of teaching practice,the students in Basal Biochemistry course,the teachers of this course are investigated through questionnaire survey and interview,respectively.3.Research on teaching effect: In the later stage of teaching practice,the practical effect of applying visual representation in the teaching of Basal Biochemistry are summarized utilizing questionnaire survey,interview and statistical analysis of students' examination performance.The main achievements are as follows:First,a set of teaching materials and corresponding teaching design about visual representation for Basal Biochemistry are fabricated and collected,and they are applied to the teaching practice for the whole period of Basal Biochemistry teaching.Second,teaching research shows that the application of teaching design based on knowledge classification and visual representation in the teaching of Basal Biochemistry course in secondary vocational school can improve students' learning enthusiasm,logical thinking ability and innovative ability,and their learning interest and achievements are also improved.The study provides excellent teaching cases for secondary vocational schools to employ visual representation in the teaching of Basal Biochemistry.
