The demand for high-quality skilled talents has promoted the rapid development of vocational education, many researchers are committed to the reform of professional courses. Basic courses in vocational schools, for example, many of the problems in biochemistry teaching have been ignored, teaching ideas and teaching models need to be reformed. In order to improve the teaching effect of the course, this research plans to introduce the action oriented concept into the teaching of biochemistry course, to use the action oriented concept to guide the teaching design and apply it to the teaching practice.This paper summarizes the research status of the action-oriented concept at home and abroad, and finds that action-oriented is mainly used in the vocational school curriculum and less used by teachers of professional basic courses. The core concepts of action-oriented, instructional design and teaching methods are defined on the basis of learning constructivist learning theory, humanistic learning theory and multiple intelligences theory, and deeply understand the core contents of the action-oriented concept and the two existing misunderstandings. Through interviews with teachers and questionnaires of students in the experimental class and control class, the application status of action- oriented concept in professional basic courses and the current situation of vocational school students' learning is also discussed. This paper summarizes the instructional design under the instruction of action, and studies the teaching design, teaching characteristics and several teaching methods based on the action-oriented concept.Under the guidance of the principle of instructional design, the content of the biochemistry is combed and optimized, and the instructional design process under the action-oriented concept is studied. Then, teaching design of the typical curriculum is carried out, and applies the design to the actual teaching. Through the second questionnaire survey and the final grade of the students to study the teaching effect.The results show that the action-oriented concept helps the vocational school students to improve the learning ability, stimulate the students' interest in learning, change the students' learning habits, and can guide students to take the initiative to learn, improve student achievement. Therefore, Action- oriented teaching philosophy can help the students to improve the learning situation,the action-oriented concept system can be applied to biochemistry and other professional basic courses. At the same time, the application of action-oriented philosophy puts forward higher requirements for vocational school teachers and teaching materials.
