Study On Chiroptera Species Diversity And Geographic Fauna In Qinba Mountains,Shaanxi Province

The hot spot for studying the fauna and distribution of animal species in Shaanxi Province is located in the Qinba Mountains.However,in the past two decades,with varying degrees of human interference,the habitat of Chiroptera has changed or even lost.At present,the resource status of Chiroptera in the Qinba Mountains of Shaanxi is currently unclear,and scattered data are occasionally found in local area studies.Therefore,it is very necessary to systematically study the species diversity and distribution of Chiroptera in Qinba Mountains.This study from April 2010 to December 2015 between the administrative divisions of various regions of 12 counties in Shaaxi Province has carried on the Study on the species diversity of Chiroptera.Approximately 13234 bats were recorded,and a total of 206 animal specimens were collected,which were initially identified as belonging to 4 families,8 genra and 22 species.Based on MAMMALS IN QINLING MOUNTAIN AREA,historical literature,and the latest research on taxonomy and phylogeny of bats,and the Chiroptera species in Shaanxi Institute of Zoology,we catalog the diversity and distribution of bat species in Shaaxi Province,China.At present,there are 34 species of Chiroptera in Qinba Mountains,which belong to 4 families and 14 genera in Shaanxi,2015.Among them,there are 3 endemic species,and 5 new species recorded and 1 new species proposed.When compared to bat species records in MAMMALS IN QINLING MOUNTAIN AREA,we added 8 species,excluded 1 species,and renamed 4 species in this revised checklist.For the species diversity of Chiroptera,? diversity and ? diversity are used for preliminary measurement and analysis.The results show that,Zhenping County,located on the northern slope of the Daba Mountains,has the highest Shannon-Weiner index and Simpson index,1.2398 and 0.570304,respectively,indicating that there are relatively many species in the habitat environment in the survey area,and the interspecific structure is quite stable;Nanzheng in Hanzhong City is located on the northern slope of Daba Mountains,while Taibai County in Baoji City is located on the southern slope of Qinling Mountains.The value(10.27)and value(6)between the two places are relatively highest,indicating the difference in geographical environment and climate between the two places.It is very large,and the degree of differentiation and isolation of species distributed in this area is also high.The results show that the most widely distributed is Rhinolophus affinis.There are the most species distributed on the southern slope of the Qinling Mountains,up to 25 species.According to the zoogeographical divisions of China,the statistics of 34 species of Chiroptera distributed in Shaanxi Province show that the species of the Oriental species accounted for the majority of the flora composition,a total of 24 species,accounting for 70.59%;the species of the Palaearctic species 10 kinds,accounting for 29.41%,the fauna of the two kingdoms are mixed and infiltrate each other,forming a relatively extensive transition zone in the Qinba Mountains,Shaanxi Province.Through field surveys and visits,combined with the collection of specimens and documentary records,it is found that direct human influence,indirect human influence,and habitat reduction,fragmentation or loss are the main threatening factors facing Chiroptera.Therefore,four protection countermeasures are put forward in a targeted manner: firstly,continue to improve the inventory of Chiroptera species diversity;secondly,suitable for habitat protection;thirdly,incorporate into the wildlife conservation list,and actively carry out publicity and education;at last,strengthen exchanges and cooperation.In summary,about 34 species of Chiroptera have been initially identified in Qinba Mountains,Shaanxi Province.Among them,there are 3 endemic species,and 5 new species recorded and1 new species proposed in Shaaxi.The data has enriched the basic information on species diversity of Chiroptera in Shaanxi Province.Aiming at the inventory of species diversity of Chiroptera in the Qinba Mountains,some synonymous species have been systematically sorted out,and the analysis of flora characteristics,species diversity characteristics,and animal geographic distribution patterns have been carried out.Related research results provide the feasibility analysis basis and theoretical basis for protection and further research of Chiroptera in Qinba Mountains,Shaanxi.
