The Floristic Analysis Of Seed Plant In Mt.Niutou National Forest Park

In addition to reviewing relevant literatures,the seed-plant flora of Mt.Niutou National Forest Park was combined line transect and quadrat method.A total of 1236 species of seed plants belonging to 135 families and 604 genera(including subspecies class,the same below)are identified in Mt.Niutou National Forest Park.These species are in 74.18%,48.28%,36.58%of the families,genera and species of seed plants known in Zhejiang Province.Three-hundred and forty-six identified species(27.99%),in 161 genera,are in the family of Poaceae,Asteraceae,Rosaceae,Cyperaceae and Fabaceae.The families Sabiaceae,Elaeocarpaceae,Taxaceae,Stemonaceae,Vitaceae,Fagaceae,Myrsinaceae,Buxaceae,mainly distributed in tropical zone and temperate zone,have relatively high Values of Floristic Importance to Chinese Genera(VFICG),and are the characteristic families of Mt.Niutou flora.In general,the pantropical is the principal type of Mt.Niutou flora.In total,360 genera,accounting for 59.60% of the total genera,are monospecific.The main distribution types of the characteristic genera are the pantropical and north temperate,which include many rare and endangered species such as Taxus wallichiana,Brasenia schreberi,Bretschneidera sinensis classified as first class national protected plants.We conclude that:(1)The flora in Mt.Niutou National Forest Park is rich in species,diverse in distribution type,and acient in floristic origin,(2)Mt.Niutou National Forest Park is located at the boundary between south subtropical and mid-subtropics,the south margin of east China flora and the north margin of South China flora.The flora in Mt.Niutou shows a transitional type including both the tropical and temperate elements,(3)Mt.Niutou National Forest Park is the habitat for many endemic and rare plant species with high research and protection value.
