Spatial Statistical Analysis On Economic Development Of Jinan Metropolitan Region And Qingdao Metropolitan Region In Shandong Province

In recent years,Shandong Province registers a sluggish growth.At the time when every province focuses on developing big cities,Jinan and Qingdao,as the core cities of the Jinan metropolitan region and Qingdao metropolitan region respectively,have been entrusted with important missions.Based on the experience of economic development in the past,under a reasonable economic gap,resources can be effectively allocated,industrial exchanges and transfers between neighboring cities will be promoted,and first wealth will drive second wealth,the coordinated development of the cities in the urban agglomerations.Shandong Province has always been famous for its "average development",its overall economic strength is strong,and the urban economic development in Ji-Qing City Group has its own characteristics.Therefore,it is of great practical significance to further explore the agglomeration and convergence of the economic development of Ji-Qing City Group and Jinan metropolitan region and Qingdao metropolitan region within the urban agglomeration.The innovation of this paper is to study the spatial characteristics of economic development of Ji-Qing City Group from the point of view of the relationship between metropolitan region and city group;this paper explores the spatial agglomeration and convergence characteristics of economic development in Ji-Qing City Group from different dimensions based on cross-section data model and panel data model;Before the establishment of the spatial regression model,the variables were screened by stepwise regression and multicollinearity test,which reduced the model error and improved the model interpretation effect.After the establishment of the spatial regression model,the LM test and the robustness test are carried out to get a more accurate model,so as to better display the characteristics of the economic development of Ji-Qing City Group.In this paper,13 cities in Ji-Qing City Group from 2009 to 2018 are selected as research objects to study whether there is significant spatial effect in Ji-Qing City Group,and on this basis,a spatial economic model is established,this paper studies the main factors and spatial relations that affect the agglomeration and convergence of urban economic development in Ji-Qing City Group.Use the Moran Index to measure spatial effects.The spatial regression model based on cross-sectional data is mainly used to explore the agglomeration effect and influencing factors of urban economic development in Ji-Qing City Group.Using the spatial convergence models based on panel data explores the convergence of urban economic development in Ji-Qing City Group from various angles.The following conclusions are drawn:1.In the studied period,Jinan metropolitan region and Qingdao metropolitan region both have a significant positive spatial correlation.2.The results of spatial regression model based on cross-sectional data show that the spatial lag coefficient is significant,and the spatial effect is obvious.The per capita use of foreign capital and per capita expenditure on education have no significant impact on the real per capita GDP of cities in the Ji-Qing City Group,the per capita retail sales and housing prices in Ji-Qing City Group have a significant impact on the actual per capita GDP of cities.3.The spatial convergence model based on panel data shows that there are ?,absolute ? and conditional ? convergence tendency in Ji-Qing City Group.In the conditional ? convergence model,the coefficients of per capita use of foreign capital,per capita retail sales,per capita fiscal revenue and highway density are positive,which promotes the convergence of economic development of Ji-Qing City Group,the urbanization rate and the coefficient of per capita education expenditure are negative,which restrains the convergence of economic development.However,there is no club convergence in Ji-Qing City Group,that is,the convergence speed of urban economic development in Jinan metropolitan region is not obviously faster than that in Qingdao metropolitan region.Finally,according to the related index value and the model estimated results,this paper puts forward the suggestion,hopes that may make full use of the Ji-Qing City Group economy development obvious space characteristic,augment the connection of economy,make good use of the different advantages of the two regions,rationally positioning the metropolitan region within the industrial cluster,forming a virtuous"inner circle",promoting the conversion of old and new driving forces and industrial upgrading,and attracting talents for employment and entrepreneurship.Finally,regional harmonious economy development will be realized.
