From the period of the late Qing Dynasty and the Republic of China to the beginning of the People's Republic of China,the curriculum consciousness of our country gradually awakened and the curriculum system became mature.Educationalists in this period,combining the background of the times with the trend of educational thought,carried out educational practice such as setting up schools and compiling textbooks,and emerged rich teaching achievements and curriculum ideas.Mr.Liu(1896-1967)also devoted himself to mathematics teaching and educational research during this period.Based on the social and cultural background,the characteristics of mathematics subject and the needs of students' development,he put forward some unique opinions on curriculum objectives,curriculum organization and curriculum implementation.In order to preserve and pass on the thought of local characters in our country more systematically and completely,and to provide the endogenous motive force and source for the reform of contemporary curriculum.This article revolves around three big questions: what stage has Liu Xunyu curriculum thought experienced to form the development? How can Liu Xunyu's thought elements be analyzed and presented? What is the logical structure and contemporary enlightenment of Liu Xunyu's curriculum thought? Liu Xunyu's works and his historical evaluation are selected as the main literature review materials,and the text is deeply excavated by combining qualitative and quantitative methods.The article is divided into the following five parts:Introduction.This paper mainly expounds the origin and problems of the research,the purpose and significance of the research,and provides the framework,perspective and content of the relevant literature review at home and abroad,defines the research time and core concepts and their operational definitions.Second,the formation and development of Liu Xunyu's mathematics curriculum thought.Through analyzing the text materials,combining with historical events,growing up process,educational practice,political background and social trend of thought,as the forming motive force of Liu Xunyu's curriculum thought,its curriculum thought formed through three stages: the foundation stage of forming elements of curriculum thought from 1896-1919,the stage of shaping structural elements of curriculum thought from 1919-1930,and the stage of systematic discussion of the whole structure of curriculum thought from 1930-1967,which provided special events for the construction of Liu Xunyu's mathematics curriculum thought.Third,the presenting elements of Liu Xunyu's mathematics curriculum thought.Based on the historical materialism and dialectical materialism,the text is studied by means of Nvivo10 qualitative analysis software.Based on the framework of the educationalist's personal portrait study,this paper analyzes Liu's personal growth portrait visually,combining the development course and special events.At the same time,the text again visual analysis,analysis of the elements presented and included in the research framework,the structural elements of the reconstruction of its curriculum thought are the elements of curriculum value thought,curriculum goal thought,curriculum content thought,curriculum organization thought and curriculum evaluation thought.Fourth,the logical structure of Liu Xunyu's mathematics curriculum thought.Integrating and condensing Liu Xunyu's curriculum thought as the formative element of character level and as the structural element of theory level,based on the framework and principle of Taylor's objective curriculum theory and GoodRide's curriculum transformation theory,this paper integrates Liu Xunyu's curriculum thought structure and analyzes its remarkable characteristics.Its logical structure is based on the humanistic spirit of curriculum value stand,knowledge,thought and feelings of curriculum objectives expression,direct and indirect experience interaction of curriculum content selection,taking into account students and subjects of curriculum organization system,personality,equality and extension of curriculum implementation change and focus on goals and values of curriculum evaluation orientation.Fifth,the value and contemporary enlightenment of Liu Xunyu's mathematics curriculum thought.The historical significance of Liu Xunyu's thought is analyzed on the basis of clarifying the structure and characteristics of Liu Xunyu's thought.Its value lies in accelerating the modernization process of mathematics education in China,stimulating the new motive force of the growth of mathematics popular science reading materials,and influencing the development of regional education widely and far-reaching.Its contemporary enlightenment lies in adhering to the orientation of curriculum value based on children,pointing to the curriculum goal of growth of nature and family consciousness,the integration of symbolic and life-oriented contents of mathematics curriculum,the integration of sub-subject and comprehensive curriculum in interaction,the implementation of mathematics curriculum dedicated to original localization and the construction of a curriculum evaluation system of humanistic education.
