Comprehensive Evaluation And Analysis Of High-quality Economic Development In The Western Region

The report of the 19 th Party Congress and the Central Economic Work Conference pointed out that "socialism with Chinese characteristics has entered a new era,and China’s economic development has entered a new era." The basic characteristic is that the Chinese economy has shifted from a high-speed growth stage to a high-quality development stage.Promoting high-quality economic development is the trend of China’s new era.With the new requirements of the new era,the Chinese economy has begun to shift to a high-quality development stage.The strategic location of the western region is important.Therefore,a comprehensive evaluation of the high-quality economic development of the western region is Meaningful.This article takes 12 provinces(municipalities and autonomous regions)in the western region as the research object and collects data for 13 years in each province from 2006 to 2018.First analyzes the status quo of high-quality economic development in the western region.Secondly,through construction,a total of 24 indicators are reflected,including economic vitality,innovative development,coordinated development,green development,open development and shared development.Finally,combined with the comprehensive evaluation analysis using the entropy method,the comprehensive evaluation scores and rankings of 12 provinces in the western region were calculated and analyzed.The comprehensive evaluation analysis was also performed on the indicator layer,and policy recommendations were provided for the high-quality economic development in the western region.This article mainly breaks through the limitations of previous studies on high-quality economic development that were limited to a certain region or a certain year,and analyzes the high-quality economic development of provinces in the western region through a horizontal and vertical comparative analysis of the western region Comprehensive evaluation analysis.The conclusions of this article are as follows:(1)In recent years,the overall level of high-quality economic development in the western region has shown an upward trend.It can also be seen from the comprehensive evaluation score trend graph that the trends in the 12 provinces in the western region are basically the same,but the growth rate is slow.(2)There is a large gap in the level of high-quality economic development of the 12 provinces in the western region.By ranking the comprehensive evaluation scores of the high-quality economic development level of the 12 provinces in the western region,the ranking of the high-quality economic development level in the western region has fluctuated greatly from 2006 to 2018.(3)The contribution of the high-quality economic development of the 12 provinces in the western region to the indicators of the high-quality economic development in the western region also varies,and the internal gaps between the provinces are also large.
