Research purpose:The main purpose of this study is to explore the influence of comprehensive exercise intervention on cardiopulmonary endurance related indexes of sedentary adults,so as to provide reference for the formulation of cardiopulmonary endurance exercise prescription.Exercise intervention is the combination of aerobic endurance training and resistance training. At the same time,it makes new exploration and practice in the form of training and operation mode for the exercise and fitness of sedentary workers. Methods:Based on the project"Research on key technologies of personalized and accurate guidance scheme for human movement to promote health"supported by the Ministry of science and technology during the 13th five year plan. The subjects were sedentary workers, recruited qualified employees of a state-owned enterprise,164 subjects completed the tests and interventions(aged 22-59,height 165.32±8.4,weight 64.47±12.63).VO2max,energy saving, echocardiography and blood lipid were used as evaluation indexes of cardiopulmonary endurance. The intervention was high-intensity interval training combined with resistance training,1 hour each time,3times a week for 12 weeks. The data of each index before and after the intervention were collected, and the changes of the index and the differences related to gender and age were analyzed by SPSS19.0.Results:After 12 weeks of high-intensity interval training combined with resistance training,a series of changes in indexes appeared after the intervention.(1)Before and after the intervention, there were significant differences in absolute and relative values of maximal oxygen uptake, ventilation volume and RPE.However, only the absolute value of maximal oxygen uptake in male subjects before and after the intervention was significantly different, but the relative value of maximal oxygen uptake in middle-aged men before and after the intervention was significantly different,so the effect of comprehensive exercise intervention on maximal oxygen uptake in middle-aged men(40-59 years old)was better than that in young men(22-39 years old). However, there is no significant difference in the rate of respiratory exchange(RER)before and after intervention.RER reflects the characteristics of energy metabolism of the body. The energy metabolism of the body may not be changed due to the 12 week intervention. If the intervention time is prolonged, different effects may be achieved.(2)After 12 weeks of exercise intervention, there was no significant difference in ventilatory capacity of the subjects in the functional saving test, while the relative and absolute values of oxygen uptake decreased after 12 weeks of exercise intervention, indicating the improvement of functional saving level.(3)The level of total cholesterol,high/low density lipoprotein and triglyceride decreased significantly after intervention.(4)Among the echocardiographic indexes, the male subjects only showed significant difference in IVSS through intervention, and there was no significant difference in other indexes.Among female subjects, there were only five indexes of HR,LVIDd(cm),LVIDs(cm),LVPWs(cm),ESV(Teich)before and after the intervention, but they had no significant effect on ejection fraction, output per stroke, output per minute and other indexes. If the exercise intervention time is prolonged,it may have a greater impact on the echocardiographic indexes. Conclusion:We found that the comprehensive exercise intervention of aerobic endurance training combined with resistance strength training can improve the cardiopulmonary endurance level of sedentary workers,so we suggest that sedentary workers should regularly participate in the comprehensive exercise training of aerobic endurance combined with resistance strength.
