With the rapid development of urbanization,China’s overall urbanization rate has exceeded 58%.Under the rapid growth of total resident population of the city and land resources dwindling dual background,a residential area of the city more and more toward high-volume ratio development.At the same time,the impact of its high density and high volume ratio on the human microclimate environment has gradually emerged.At present,wind environment issues have become the focus of researchers in the microclimate environment.As a place closely related to people’s living and daily activities,the residential area is more suitable for the comfort of the living environment.In order to explore the influencing factors of wind environment in residential areas,this paper uses CFD numerical simulation method to model and simulate the wind field in Wuhan residential district.Firstly this paper summarizes the achievements of the domestic and foreign research on wind environment,on the basis of relevant concepts of city wind environment,clearly pointed out that the influence of city environment by building a stroke of plane and space layout,and the individual feelings on the wind environment.The simulation methods of CFD in wind environment are discussed in detail,including model simplification,calculation area determination,mesh generation,setting of boundary conditions and selection of calculation models.At the same time,by summarizing the existing wind environment standards and combining with the climate characteristics of Wuhan,the wind environment evaluation standards suitable for residential areas in Wuhan are extracted.Finally,taking Wuhan as an example,some typical plots were selected as research objects,and the summer season,winter season,and excessive season(spring and autumn)were selected to simulate the wind environment of the residential area using CFD software Phoenics,combined with actual measurement data.Analyze the simulation results and get relevant conclusions:1.The continuous increase of the height of the residential buildings,led to various extreme wind field effects such as blasts and static winds in the outdoor pedestrian area in the community,indicating that the wind environment in residential areas in Wuhan has gradually deteriorated;2.There is a significant positive correlation between the wind environment score of the residential quarters in the transitional season and the overall wind environment quality of the community;3.Since the 1990 s,although the wind conditions in residential areas in summer and winter have not changed much,there are many windless areas or cyclone areas in the outdoor pedestrian heights of these two seasons.Studies have shown that,the wind environment quality of residential areas in Wuhan has shown an overall downward trend.The main reason for this phenomenon after computer simulation experiments is the increase of high-rise residential buildings.Therefore,in the urban architectural design,attention should be paid to the practical problem that the height of the building will affect the living environment of the city and affect the quality of life of urban people.
