The outdoor wind environment has a great influence on outdoor microclimate,natural ventilation and pollutant diffusion.With the continuous development of the urban process,land resources are scarce in the city,population density increases,and there is a considerable contradiction between building density and creating a good natural wind environment,especially in the most common high-rise residential buildings in the city.The development of CFD technology provides technical support for building outdoor wind environment simulation and has been widely used in practical engineering.However,CFD technology is relatively complex and involves a wide range of parameters.Moreover,China has a vast territory,different urban areas have different climates,and seasonal wind environmental parameters are diverse.In the existing CFD simulation and analysis methods,the simulation and analysis standards are different,and there is a lack of analysis methods and evaluation standards according to local conditions in different regions,so it cannot be a good guide for planning and design.The prevailing wind simulation analysis method is the most commonly used wind environment simulation method in the industry at present.However,China has a vast territory and different seasonal wind environments vary greatly in different regions.This paper summarizes the simulation analysis methods of building outdoor wind environment in the existing research,and makes a comparative analysis of meteorological data and climate division methods.A comparative analysis is made between the simulation analysis method of all-direction wind environment and the prevailing wind direction in the air ventilation assessment method of Hong Kong.Three typical layout forms of high-rise residential areas,namely staggered type,determinant type and enclosed type,were selected as the analysis model to simulate the all-direction wind environment,and four evaluation indexes,namely average wind speed,wind pressure,wind speed ratio and wind speed inhomogeneity coefficient,were selected to compare the difference of results between the two methods.Through comparative analysis,there is a certain difference between the results of four different evaluation indexes of the prevailing wind direction method and the total wind direction simulation analysis method,and the difference between different evaluation indexes is different.The ventilation rules among the three typical layout forms of residential areas are found,which can provide guidance and Suggestions for the layout of residential areas.Finally,taking a high-rise residential area in Xi'an as an example,the wind environment of this project is simulated and analyzed with the method of full wind direction,and the wind environment of this residential area is analyzed with four evaluation indexes of average wind speed,wind pressure,wind speed ratio and wind speed inhomogeneity coefficient,so as to provide Suggestions for the planning and layout of the residential area.
