Abstract/Summary:
This document offers a short outline of the raison of the control programs of stormwater and explains the reasons of the importance to put measurements of surface waters control in a context of sustainable development.;Runoff forecast was based on the model of the nonlinear tank used in model SWMM. The methodology for forecasting the pollutant loads was based on the model of "Modified Rating Curve" for suspended sediments (SS) and on the equation of mixture for the biological oxygen demand (BDO).;Several analyses were carried out for the three scenarios with different return periods. One can observe, in particular, that the application of BMP has an impact on the improvement of water quality and the minimization of the harmful polluting masses in the receiving waters. The level of overflow and discharge of the polluting masses decreases as BMP is applied. Finally the application of the BMP proves to be a good solution for the management of rain water in urban environment.;Keywords : control programs of stormwater, Best Management practices (BMP), SWMM, rating curve.;The goal of this document is to evaluate the hydraulic and environmental benefits of the establishment Best Management Practices (BMP) through a case study represented by the network of sector I of the district of Verdun. The hydraulics and environmental performances of the network were analyzed and compared for three scenarios of configuration. The base case scenario consists of analyzing the network in its actual position of operation without any intervention. The objective of the second scenario is to analyze the benefit brought by the separation of the networks by building a sub-surface network dedicated to stormwater. The third scenario makes it possible to highlight the contribution of the BMP combined with the separation of the networks in the improvement of the hydraulic and environmental performance of the network.
