Abstract/Summary:
The American Association of Agricultural Education calls for New Technologies, Practices and Produces Adoption Decisions and Meaningful, Engaged Learning in All Environments as national research priorities. Oklahoma State University's agricultural communication program offers two basic photography courses, a semester long course and a two-week travel seminar. This study employed a survey research method using then/now and semantic differential scales to determine student's attitudes and course content comprehension of the photography tour. Students who completed the Summer 2013 photography tour were asked about their demographics, psychographics, content comprehension, and overall attitude of the course. Overall findings indicate that students comprehended basic tenants of photography and had a positive attitude of the class.
