| The persistent concerns of business can be focused upon how they communicate to promote products and services, relay information within the business, and between members of a supply chain. With the advent of the World Wide Web, communication has become easier to accomplish by the simple linking of documents to make the content available to those who needed it. Today, a new frontier of Web communication is developing called Linked Data. Linked Data has the promise of starting a revolution on the Web by allowing available raw data to be accessed, organized, and made more useful to those who need it. Throughout the course of this thesis, Linked Data and its effect upon business communications will be examined to determine if the persistent concerns of business can be solved by the implementation of Linked Data within the organization. |
