The purpose of this project was to create and pilot test an accessible web-based tool that teachers can use to find lesson plans that address their grade level and subject content standards as well as 21st century skills. This web-based tool is also intended to be a collaborative online environment that enables teachers to work together to meet the needs of 21 st century students.; The results of this pilot usability testing indicate that overall teachers were impressed with this web-based tool. However, not enough data was collected to determine how helpful educators found this product. Nor was I able to determine teachers' interest in joining this community of practice to become active participants in this project. This product has the potential to be a helpful resource, but for it to be truly effective it must become something that belongs to a community involved in its usage, maintenance and growth.
