| In the era of experience economy,innovation is the core competitiveness of individuals and enterprises.As a common creative method,brainstorming can provide a free atmosphere to promote the exchange and collision of different viewpoints,which is conducive to the brainstorming of the team.However,restricted by various internal and external factors,brainstorming also has problems such as low productivity and insufficient innovation of results.Previous studies have mainly addressed the above problems from a social perspective,that is,by reducing negative interpersonal influences,we can increase the number of ideas produced by brainstorming and the innovation of ideas.It is ignored that brainstorming itself is a cognitive process,and the creativity level of the participants is also a core factor in determining the outcome of brainstorming.As an inspirational stimulus,cards can provide information and methods to stimulate creative thinking in a more convenient form,helping to enhance user creativity.In addition,with the help of physical form cards,users are able to visualize the inner thought process,which can help to think about design problems in multiple dimensions.Therefore,this paper hopes to develop a set of card tools to assist brainstorming to help users generate ideas in the ideation stage.Based on the SIAM model,semantic network and other basic theories,this paper takes the cognitive process of idea generation as the research object,and uses cluster analysis,literature analysis and other research methods to design,research and analyze the card tool that assists brainstorming.The study found that:1)Restricted by the fixation effect,it is difficult for individuals to break through the constraints of the experience framework to propose novel ideas,and providing information and methods to activate distant concepts as inspirational stimuli can help to solve this problem and promote the generation of ideas.;2)Compared with inputting external information,mastering the cognitive skills to activate distant concepts is more conducive to promoting creativity,and can help individuals better cope with dynamic and cross-domain challenges;3)Inspiration at medium semantic distance Stimulation is more conducive to promoting creativity,because it can help the individual to break through the constraints of the experience frame,and at the same time,it is not difficult to understand.Based on the above research findings,this paper establishes the first research hypothesis that providing cognitive skills to activate distant concepts in brainstorming can help improve the creativity of participants in generating ideas(Hypothesis 1).In addition,in order to further promote the creativity of brainstorm participants,the relevant inspirational stimuli should be of moderate semantic distance.In order to verify this hypothesis,this paper has carried out the following two aspects of work:First,design and implement the card tool that assists brainstorming.The research in this part mainly includes:1)Mining users’ perceptual needs,using natural language processing technology to mine users’ perceptual needs for card tools,and providing guidance for subsequent design;2)Card inspirational stimulation design,inspirational stimulation is to inspire users’creative thinking At the core of this paper,through the process of "translationback-translation-debugging",this paper summarizes common cognitive skills(idea generation techniques)that promote idea generation into inspiration stimuli of medium semantic distance,and uses card sorting to divide them into iterative methods,combination method,provocation method,enumeration method 4 categories;3)Visual design of cards,based on different visualization methods of inspiration and stimulation concepts,this paper designs two alternatives,and invites participants to score to determine the final visual design scheme;4)Design of the card usage method.This paper organizes three workshops with the designed card tool,and summarizes the card usage method from the bottom up by observing the usage behavior of the participants.In addition,through the analysis of participants’ use behavior,this paper also found a card combination pattern and established a second research hypothesis,that the combination of enumeration-related cards and other types of cards can help improve the output of brainstorming participants Innovativeness of the idea(Hypothesis 2).Second,experimentally verify the research hypothesis.Experiment 1 is in the form of personal brainstorming,mainly to verify whether the use of the card tool designed in this paper can stimulate creative thinking and improve the innovation of the ideas produced by the subjects(hypothesis 1).In addition to comparing the objective results of the final output(number of ideas and innovativeness of ideas),this paper also collected the subjects’ brain waves,galvanic skin response and facial expression data in the experiment to observe the impact of different types of cards on the thinking process.In addition,this paper also uses the Kelly grid method to analyze the core factors that affect the generation of ideas of different types of cards.The experimental results support Hypothesis 1,indicating that using the card tool designed in this paper can stimulate inspiration,promote cognitive flexibility,and help users activate distant concepts.Through further analysis of physiological data,this paper also found that in personal brainstorming,the combination method-related cards can promote user creativity,while the iterative method-related cards perform poorly.The above conclusions are also in line with the results of the Kelly grid analysis.Experiment 2 is also in the form of personal brainstorming,mainly to verify whether the card combination pattern found in this paper can improve the creativity of the subjects(Hypothesis 2).The experimental results verify Hypothesis 2,showing that using cards in combination can improve user creativity more than using them individually.However,Experiment 1 and Experiment 2 also show that using the card tool designed in this paper will reduce the number of ideas generated by the subjects,which is also the main defect of this design.Experiment 3 is in the form of team brainstorming,mainly to verify the effectiveness of the card tool designed in this paper in actual scenarios.The experimental results show that the card tool designed in this paper is also effective in team brainstorming,and can improve the creativity of participants’ ideas.This paper combines theoretical research,design method and experimental verification to develop a set of card tools to assist brainstorming.By analyzing the effects of cards and their inspirational stimuli on thought processes,this paper further explains the intrinsic reason why the tool promotes creativity,which is to help users activate distant concepts by promoting cognitive flexibility and inspiration generation.In general,the research significance of this paper is reflected in two aspects:firstly,it combines brainstorming and card tools to help users crack the creative black box and conduct new explorations for cognitive-based brainstorming research;secondly,because this paper The card tool is developed based on the idea generation technology.Therefore,through the analysis and comparison of the relevant physiological indicators,this paper further deepens the research on the idea generation technology. |
