Internet Insurance Company Valuation Research

In 2013,China established the first Internet insurance company--Zhongan online property insurance company,marking the official start of China's pure online insurance company established by Internet technology and opening a new era of Internet insurance.In the following years,three Internet insurance companies were successively established,and traditional insurance companies also developed Internet insurance platform business in succession.China's Internet insurance industry has a good development momentum,but the corresponding domestic valuation research is relatively lagging behind.How to evaluate the Internet insurance companies is particularly important,from the theoretical level it can provide indicators for investors,and from the practical operation it can provide a theoretical basis for the merger and reorganization of insurance companies.This paper chooses the Zhongan Insurance Company as a case.It teases the research about theoretical basis and research present situation of the Internet companies and insurance companies at home and abroad.Then,this article analyzes the current situation of the development of the Internet industry in China in recent years.This paper emphasizes the part of online property insurance.Through financial data and business structure of the company in case to briefly introduce it,this paperuses the P/B ratio,RIM,DDM and GMV to assess value of company.Finally,we can get the enterprise value,which makes up the existing research and provides certain reference for other companies within the industry at the same time.
