As the only company in the construction and operation of G city's communication base station,China tower Co.,Ltd.G branch(G Tower Company)undertakes more than 3000 tasks of base station construction of G city's three major telecommunication operators every year.According to the principle of single station project management,project managers manage more than 300 per capita,and the construction task is very arduous.However,from the current situation of project management of communication base station construction,there is still much room for research on the application of project schedule management in communication project of G Tower Company.Based on the research of project management theory and method,and from the author's own perspective as the base station builder of G Tower Company,this paper takes 83 base station construction of G Tower Company's fourth phase of 4G base station construction project in L area in 2018 as an example,and combines the author's years of construction and management experience,emphatically expounds the theory and method of project progress management in communication base station.Through the application of project management knowledge,coordination of various resources,rational scheduling of work progress,and formulation of the best schedule to meet project needs,and through the project management knowledge management project progress process,finally discussed the use of traditional project management tools and cloud project management software in project implementation management.In view of some key problems affecting the construction of communication base station,this paper also makes an analysis and elaboration on the exploration of innovative construction mode made by G Tower Company.At the same time,it provides valuable project experience for future 4G,5G communication base stations in the construction process,and improves the core competitiveness of G Tower Company.This paper mainly applies WBS(Work Breakdown Structures),CPM(Critical Path Method)and other tools and methods to project schedule management.By decomposing the activities of a single base station construction project,estimating the duration of activities,optimizing the construction period of each type of base station,from single station to batch,we formulate the optimization plan of the whole project.The research results of this paper have been implemented in the base station construction of G Tower Company,which provides help for improving the quality and efficiency of construction and achieved good practical application results.
