A Study Of Yunnan Minority Rural Left-Behind Elderly Pension Services Needs

At present,the rapid urbanization accelerates the spatial flow of rural population to the city,the villagers' life style has changed to urban life,as a result,there are a large number of rural left-behind groups.Among them,many older people choose to stay in the rural hometown the elderly due to because of the attachment for home and life pressure from moving to the city.Especially in ethnic minority areas,due to the different habits,a lot of old people don't want to move to the cities,therefore,there are a large number of left-behind elderly in minority areas.The development course of China's ageing population can be divided into three different stages,rapid development,slow development and steady development.The time from2015 to 2035,belongs to the stage of rapid development.Statistics predicts that the people over 65 will be as high as forty-six percent in 2050.Among them,the rural left-behind elderly expected accounted for twenty-six percent.Children's work has affected the traditional family endowment.At the same time,the social security system in our country is still not perfect;the left-behind elderly pension problems face a very serious challenge.While ethnic minorities 'challenge is more serious due to the particularity of culture,customs and so on.Therefore,it is of great significance to explore the demand for elderly care services for the left behind elderly in minority rural areas,summarize the existing problems,and finally find solutions to the difficulties.It is not only related to the happiness of the rural left behind elderly in their old age,but also related to the sustainable and stable development of rural economy and society,which is of great significance to the comprehensive construction of a well-off society.In this paper,questionnaire method and interview method are used to study 12 representative administrative villages in 5 towns and 3 townships of Jianchuan County.According to Maslow's Hierarchy of Needs,the demand types of rural left behind elderly are divided.At the same time,the author comprehensively know about theproblems of the left behind elderly in Jianchuan County from the basic,economic,life,medical,spiritual,pension service demand and satisfaction.The demand of rural left behind elderly in Jianchuan County has the following characteristics: individual difference,progressive,tendentious,time limit and dependence.Through investigation and research,this paper summarizes the problems of supply and demand contradiction,lack of infrastructure,talent shortage,limited funds,medical conditions and strong sense of loneliness of the elderly in rural areas of Jianchuan County.It analyzes the causes of the problems from four aspects of economic support,medical conditions,government main responsibility and traditional cultural concept.Finally,according to the Welfare Pluralism,Social Support Theory and Public Goods Supply Theory,this paper puts forward specific countermeasures and suggestions from five aspects of government,society,village collective,family and individual left behind elderly,in order to improve the elderly care service of Yunnan minority rural areas.
