In the research process of the urbanization process and the evolution of the industrial structure, the relationship between the two has been the main line of research, among which research results abound, and innovations in internal research directions are constantly being explored. There is an interaction mechanism between the development of urbanization and the evolution of the industrial structure.Early industries have begun to take shape and continue to develop. The agglomeration economic effects brought the formation of cities in space. With the change of industrial structure, the urban system is constantly developing and improving.Since the 21 st century, urbanization have developed to a certain level.Within the city, there is feedback and adaptation to the industry in terms of factor supply, product demand, spatial support, etc.,moreover, regional economic society’s requirements for the coordination between urbanization and industrial structure have become increasingly prominent. From the perspective of China’s reality, the level of urbanization in China has been lagging behind the evolution of the industrial structure under the constraints of various factors since the reform and opening up.There is a problem that urbanization cannot feedback and adapt well to the evolution of the industrial structure. The two are in a state of uncoordinated development. To some extent,it hinders economic development. Therefore, there is a problem of response to the evolution of industrial structure in the process of urbanization in China’s economic and social development.Urbanization response to the evolution of regional industrial structure has become an important area of academic research. At present,as our country’s economy changes from a stage of high-speed growth to a stage of high-quality development, the trend of regional economic integration is obvious, and the correlation between regional developments is becoming stronger. Therefore, this study takes the "spatial perspective" as an entry point to study theability of urbanization to feedback and adapt to the evolution of industrial structure-the intensity of urbanization response to industrial structure evolution. As the construction of the twin-city economic circle in Chengdu-Chongqing region has become a national strategy, select Chengdu-Chongqing urban agglomeration in the important development stage of western my country as the research object.Based on the panel data of 36 prefectures / districts from 2010 to 2018,the correlation model was used to measure the urbanization response intensity of industrial structure evolution. On the basis of grasping the current status of spatiotemporal evolution,by constructing an economic space weight matrix, performing spatial autocorrelation analysis and spatial Dubin model estimation, analyzes the direct effects and spatial spillover effects of the factors that affect the response intensity of the Chengdu-Chongqing urban agglomeration.Analyze the conclusion from the path of spatial influence and draw policy implications. The research results show that:(1)The overall urbanization response intensity of the industrial structure evolution of Chengdu-Chongqing urban agglomeration is weak, but it is increasing year by year, and the regional differences are gradually narrowing.(2)The response intensity is concentratedly distributed in space, and the response intensity at the Sichuan-Chongqing junction is quite different, and the Sichuan and Chongqing markets are severely segmented.(3)Spatial autocorrelation test of response intensity shows a significant positive correlation, and the positive correlation increases year by year, and the low-value agglomeration is stronger than the high-value agglomeration in space.(4)The overall situation of Chengdu-Chongqing urban agglomeration shows that the spatial spillover effect of the level of economic development and the direct effect of regional development intensity play a decisive role in the response intensity; At the same time, the negative spatial spillover effect of the industrial agglomeration level has a greater impact on the response intensity.(5)In the Sichuan part of the Chengdu-Chongqing urban agglomeration, the direct effect of regional development intensity plays a decisive role in response intensity. At the same time, the level of economic development and industrial agglomeration has a direct inhibitory effect on regional response intensity, reflecting Chengdu’s role in increasing response intensity.(6)In the Chongqing part of Chengdu-Chongqing urbanagglomeration, the direct effects and spatial spillover effects of regional development intensity and the direct effects of industrial agglomeration levels play a decisive role in response intensity.(7)Regardless of the Chengdu-Chongqing urban agglomeration as a whole or divided into Sichuan and Chongqing, the degree of regional openness has some negative direct effects and spatial spillover effects on the response intensity.Only the Chongqing portion is a positive spatial spillover effect, reflects the good situation of open cooperation between regions within Chongqing, but the overall degree of openness of the Chengdu-Chongqing urban agglomeration is still relatively small, and the promotion of response intensity brought by open cooperation has not been fully exerted. In the future, the factors that directly affect the response intensity should be further amplified, the obstacles should be eliminated, the city lag will be improved,The comprehensive urbanization process will provide better feedback, adapt to the evolution of the industrial structure, and increase the response intensity.Eventually, the two will be coordinated in time and space and improve the efficiency of economic development. Thus promoting the development of Chengdu-Chongqing urban agglomeration and accelerating the construction of the twin-city economic circle in Chengdu-Chongqing area.
