The construction of the G60 Science and Innovation Corridor is the implementation of the innovation-driven development strategy in the Yangtze River Delta region,a key measure for collaborative innovation across administrative regions in the integration strategy, and an important engine for higher-quality integrated development in the Yangtze River Delta. In this context, based on the main research results of the innovation space, this paper explores the spatial structure and evolution of innovation activities in the districts and counties under the G60 Science and Innovation Corridor, measures its spatial spillover effects and boundaries, and proposes relevant recommendations to clarify optimal allocation of innovative resources and coordinated development paths of the G60 Science and Innovation Corridor. This paper first summarizes the research area and compares and analyzes the relevant indicators of science and technology innovation in nine cities. It is concluded that the G60 Science and Innovation Corridor has a good foundation for innovation. The specific performance is as follows: the proportion of scientific researchers has increased and the investment in innovation has increased; The forms of innovation practice are rich, and the company's innovation vitality is prominent;Innovation achievements are numerous, the quantity and quality of innovation output have been improved. Also analyzes the spatial evolution, subject evolution, and industry evolution characteristics of the invention patent applications in nine cities from 2003 to 2018.It is found that the innovative activities of nine cities are continuously enhanced, and the trend of agglomeration and diffusion coexists. With Hangzhou,Suzhou, and Hefei as the core, the whole presents a nearly "V" type innovation space structure with " interaction between east and west and constraints in the middle ";The main body of innovation has changed from universities to enterprises;innovation is mostly concentrated in the fields of optoelectronics, medicine, communication technology, etc.,and is gradually active in more fields. Then, using spatial autocorrelation analysis method to explore the spatial correlation characteristics of innovation activities in G60 Science and Innovation Corridor, the results show that the spatial concentration of innovation activities in the nine cities is strong, but as time goes by,the degree of agglomeration has declined, and it has become dispersed and balanced development;eastern innovation activities centered on Hangzhou and Suzhou have a significant radiation effect on the surrounding areas, while western innovation activities centered on Hefei have a limited radiation effect on the surrounding areas.Secondly, the adjacency weight matrix, geographical distance weight matrix, and economic geographic distance spatial weight matrix are set,and the spatial econometric model is used to measure innovation spillovers of the panel data of 62 districts and counties in the G60 Science and Innovation Corridor from 2014 to 2018.The empirical results show that adjacent spaces the dual fixed spatial dubin model under the weight matrix has the best estimation results, and draws the following conclusions:(1)There is a significant positive spatial spillover effect in the innovation activities of the G60 Science and Innovation Corridor and the north and south regions, and the spillover effect in the southern region is greater than North.(2)There are significant regional differences in the spillover of innovation activities from various innovation factors. The investment in science and technology funds and the input of scientific and technological personnel have a significant positive effect in the southern part of the corridor. The improvement of the level of economic development will promote the innovation activities in the northern part of the corridor, but it will inhibit the performance of innovation activities in the southern part.Foreign direct investment has a negative spillover effect on innovation activities in the region in the corridor, but it has a promoting effect on neighboring districts and counties.(3)The innovation space spillover effect of the G60 Science and Innovation Corridor and its northern region is significantly positive from 10 km to 150 km.The total regional spillover effect first rises and then decreases, and the spillover effect is strongest at 30 km;the northern regional spillover effect has been declining, and the spillover effect is strongest at 10 km;the innovation space spillover effect in the southern region of the corridor is significantly negative in the range of 10 ~ 230 km,and the spillover effect is least hindered at 50 km.Finally, according to the measurement results,it is proposed that the innovation and development of the G60 Science and Innovation Corridor should start from three aspects: innovation resource allocation, innovation pattern planning, and system management and operation.
