Research On The Competitiveness Of Guangzhou Construction Wealth Management Center

After 40 years of reform and opening up,the material wealth of the people has been greatly improved and the wealth management industry has emerged accordingly.Under the background of the great era of asset management,as a professional financial center,wealth management centers have attracted more and more cities to seize the position of wealth management centers in order to succeed in the new round of competition for the position of financial centers.In 2014,The government document ‘General Plan for Guangdong Pearl River Delta Financial Reform and Innovation Comprehensive Experimental Zone' was issued,which proposed for the first time in an important document that Guangzhou should be built into a wealth management center.Facing the increasingly fierce competition of wealth management center cities,how to evaluate their competitiveness has become a necessary problem to study.Therefore,this paper studies the construction of Guangzhou wealth management center competitiveness,the construction of a wealth management center competitiveness evaluation system,accurately to the level of Guangzhou wealth management competitiveness analysis,positioning,find out the advantages and disadvantages of its development,to learn from each other.Due to the current research about wealth management center competitiveness is not rich,study on the regional financial competitiveness is relatively abundant,and wealth management center is a professional financial center,therefore,the first regional financial competitiveness of related concepts,theories,and scholars have sorted out some of the past research,get the reference for wealth management center competitiveness research framework and to build the competitiveness evaluation system of wealth management center.Based on the summary of wealth management center competitiveness research framework,from the macro economic and financial analysis to describe the present development of regional comprehensive strength,from the level of industry cluster of medium measure and industrial support policy of the government to describe the industry competition level,finally in talents cultivation and cultivation of wealth management business to describe the microscopic level of wealth management competitiveness.From these three aspects,a descriptive analysis of the competitiveness of Guangzhou city in the construction of the wealth management center shows that Guangzhou city has a strong comprehensivecompetitiveness,but the financial industry has always been a weak link in its industrial structure.The concentration of wealth management industry is obvious,but the government pays insufficient attention to the development of wealth management industry.The conclusion is that the talent reserve is relatively sufficient,the large wealth management institutions are few and the influence is insufficient.In order to make the weight of influencing factors and evaluation results more objective,the factor analysis method is selected as the evaluation method in the construction of the competitiveness evaluation system of the wealth management center.In terms of the selection of evaluation indicators,relevant indicators to evaluate regional financial competitiveness are used for reference,and other indicators to meet the non-financial service needs of high net worth individuals are added.Finally,selecting in government documents clearly put forward to build the region into a wealth management center in six cities-Beijing,Shanghai,Shenzhen,Guangzhou,Qingdao and Hangzhou nearly five years of data,factor analysis was carried out on the 14 indexes,determine the impact of wealth management center of the construction of the three public factor,economic factor,total financial infrastructure factor and human factor,their effect weight is 51.585%,27.373% and 15.319% respectively.Six cities were scored according to the influence of three public factors,and the calculated ranking was Beijing,Shanghai,Guangzhou,Shenzhen,Hangzhou and Qingdao,among which Guangzhou ranked third with an average score of 0.3643,ranking in the middle and upper reaches of the competitiveness of wealth management centers.Finally,according to the conclusion drawn in the paper,it puts forward four Suggestions that Guangzhou should lay emphasis on strengthening the economic foundation,improving the financial level,strengthening the infrastructure construction and cultivating the middle and high-end wealth management talents when building the wealth management center.
