Research On Risk Management Of Wealth Center Project Of Guangdong Branch Of W Securities Company

The personal wealth of Chinese residents is growing day by day,and the demand for personal wealth appreciation and preservation is increasing.At the same time,the commission income of securities companies is declining year by year.The traditional brokerage business has no more advantages,so the wealth management business has become the key development direction of major securities firms.Under the background of wealth management business transformation,Guangdong Branch of W Securities Company's business transformation goal was achieved by fortune center project.Through research of scholars both domestic and foreign,I found that many papers of fortune center project risk management research were focused on wealth management in the field of risk analysis,and the difficulty of the wealth management business transformation.It is very limited based on the single purpose of risk management research.By studying the project risk management of the wealth center project of Guangdong Branch of W Securities Company,this paper hopes to provide valuable theoretical support to the securities companies in the risk management of wealth management projects.And,it can also help the project managers to better prevent and control the project risks,smoothly operate the project,and achieve the expected effect of the company on the project.Besides,it also provides risk control suggestions for the securities companies to quickly realize the transformation of wealth management business.Therefore,based on the project risk management theory,this paper studied the risk management of the wealth center project of Guangdong Branch of W Securities Company through the project risk management process including identifying project risk,evaluating project risk and solving project risk.Firstly,This paper introduces the company background and project management of the wealth center project of Guangdong Branch of W securities firm.Through brainstorming and SWOT analysis,the risk identification of the wealth center project of Guangdong Branch of W Securities Company is carried out.It are identified four categories of risks and 13 risk factors,namely operational risk,market risk,regulatory risk and systemic risk.Risk factors for market risks including credit risk,the risk of information asymmetry,the risk of the fierce competition in the industry and pricing risk;Regulatory risk including appropriateness management risk and inadequate regulatory compliance risk;Systemic risk including policy change risk,exchange rate and interest rate volatility risk.After identified the risks to the wealth center project,this paper used Analytic Hierarchy Process(AHP)to assess the risk factors of the project and determine the weight of each risk factor.We found,it concluded that the operation risk and regulatory risk account for the largest proportion,which has a great influence on the smooth progress.Otherwise,the profitability in the operation risk also plays a decisive role in the project.Finally,according to the results of AHP,and past experience,the author of the project faces various risks effectively solve measures are put forward,mainly for operational risk and regulatory risk put forward more specific solutions to cope with the situation,to ensure that fortune center project is completed,the prevention and control in advance and avoid the risk of each item.
