| Under the wave of “mass entrepreneurship and innovation”,the cost and threshold of entrepreneurship are reduced.This has led people with entrepreneurial will to embark on the road of entrepreneurship.However,entrepreneurship is not smooth sailing.In the process of entrepreneurship,there will be various problems such as insufficient funds 、market competition and high cost,these problems may lead to the failure of start-ups.entrepreneurial performance as an important factor to measure the success of entrepreneurship,its rise or fall will have a significant impact on the development of start-ups.With the advent of the era of knowledge economy,knowledge has increasingly become the core competitive advantage of enterprises.Under the background of the rapid development of knowledge economy,the acquisition of new knowledge and information from the market has become the most urgent need of startups.Cultivating the entrepreneurial ability of start-ups can not only help enterprises to find opportunities in the market faster,but also be able to face the ever-changing environment better,and always be in a favorable position in a complex environment to ensure steady growth of performance.This study first sorts out the definitions and dimensions of knowledge search,entrepreneurial ability,entrepreneurial performance and environmental uncertainty.Secondly,through reviewing the literature,constructing a theoretical model,creatively proposes entrepreneurial ability as a mediator in the model,in the theoretical model.Based on the assumptions;the hypothesis test was performed on the collected data using SPSS22.0.The data is collected in the form of questionnaires,based on the existing mature questionnaires,the scales in accordance with the study are developed,and the questionnaires are tested in small samples,and the items with lower reliability are deleted,and a suitable set of research is finally formed.The questionnaire was asked to fill in the founder or core team of the startups under 6 years of experience,and 310 valid questionnaires were finally retrieved.The data were analyzed and the following conclusions were drawn:First,knowledge search is divided into two dimensions: search width and search depth.Both dimensions have a positive impact on entrepreneurial performance.Second,the search width in knowledge search is positively related to the opportunity-related ability and management-related ability in entrepreneurial ability.At the same time,the search width of knowledge search is positively related to the management-related ability in entrepreneurial ability,and the search width is an opportunity in entrepreneurial ability.The positive impact of related capabilities is not significant.Third,opportunity-related and management-related capabilities in entrepreneurial capabilities have a positive impact on entrepreneurial performance.Fourth,the opportunity-related ability in entrepreneurial ability plays a part in mediating the influence of search depth on entrepreneurial performance.The management-related ability in entrepreneurial ability plays a part in mediating the influence of search width and search depth on entrepreneurial performance.Fifth,environmental uncertainty positively regulates the positive impact of knowledge search on entrepreneurial capabilities.Based on the above research conclusions,the following management implications are proposed:Start-ups should clarify the positive role of knowledge search in entrepreneurial performance,continuously acquire new information,knowledge,etc.,update the enterprise’s knowledge base in a timely manner,constantly try new methods and new technologies to solve problems,and maintain steady growth in entrepreneurial performance;It is necessary to clearly understand the impact of knowledge search on entrepreneurial ability.Start-ups can gain more market information,skills and technology through knowledge search.When start-ups get access to this knowledge,they will gain more heterogeneous knowledge and use these new knowledge to look at the market or Management companies,start-ups can gain more experience by using this knowledge to practice.These experiences can provide reference for start-ups,and internalize into entrepreneurial capabilities to help start-ups better manage their businesses;in the development of start-ups,More attention needs to be paid to the role of environmental uncertainty.Under environmental uncertainty,start-ups should continue to improve their entrepreneurial capabilities through knowledge search,thereby promoting entrepreneurial performance. |
