In recent years,the auto industry has witnessed rapid growth in China.Published by the China Automotive Industry Association on 11th January 2019,the annual sales of new automotive vehicles was 28million in the year 2018.As predicted,the annual sales of automotive globally will exceed 98 million in2019,within which China will take 1/3.Car insurance as well,also gains increasing attention among people.The market for car insurance has been booting,since ever more insurance companies have set foot into this market,which results rather fierce competition.However,while the car insurance business appears geometric growth,the incapable service on tackling with claim has been exposed.In a traditional pattern of claim management,problems including obsolete concept in serving claims,boorish loss assessment mode and low efficiency on claims,have led to runaway of claim management and high operating cost for the company.More seriously,all have impaired the image of car insurance among people,also impeded healthy growth of the industry.All that stated above,have called for car insurance operators to invest more time and energy following even leading the innovation of the time,providing more complete claim service for customers of car insurance.This essay is set to utilize the method of questionnaire and on-site interview for the problems and defects on the whole management system of Car Insurance Claim of China Life Property&Casualty Insurance Co.,Ltd.Xinjiang Branch and takes into statistical analysis,thereupon finding out the root of the problem.Also by referring to claim operation modes of industry leaders both home and abroad,conducting thorough document researches published both domestic and overseas,purifying the concept of lean management,then aspiring the essence and applying the theories of“anti-waste,standard operation,humanism,quality control and consistent improvement”into the management of car insurance claim,thus enhancing the management system of car insurance claim.Moreover,through optimizing management scheme and using centralized control of personnel,cost,equipment and business,the goal of intensive management of car claim is achieved and running cost of company then minimized.By re-designing the claim flowchart and perfecting management system,cutting out miscellaneous process on claim case transfer,a full and standard operation procedure of claim management shall be approached and the transferring efficiency of claim case being enhanced.The application of mobile Internet technology,renovates and perfects procedures of surveying,loss assessment and case evaluation,making it possible for mobile officing at scene and reduces the waiting time for customers.Then,the establishment of quality evaluation system for car insurance claim staffs,standardized post responsibility is confirmed,also by combining the mechanism of rewards and punishment,the company will fully arouse the enthusiasm of employees and lower error rate.Via setting up a constant training program,a sustainable improvement in claim operation management is realized.Finally,by ensuring the optimization and perfection ranging from claim management structure,claim procedure,rules and regulations and management of personnel,a lean management system of car insurance claim which is suitable for current status of China Life Property&Casualty Insurance Co.,Ltd.Xinjiang Branch is established.Being a systematical project,the lean management of car insurance claim is not merely an adoption of advanced model from other firms,nor being deemed success by simply utilizing its concept.More importantly,the key lies in the thorough transformation of ideology from the topmost mother company to the rooting branch companies.Only by absorbing advantages of each company,combing self development stage,carrying rational reformations on claim management with adjustment,thus we can ensure the healthy and sustainable progress of the company.This essay is hoped to provide assistance for the developing property insurance companies in enhancing the strength of car insurance claim management,on a fundamental basis,lowering the cost of car insurance operation,improving efficiency of management,capability and quality of service,thus optimizing the core competitiveness of enterprise,boosting a faster,better,highly efficient and healthy development of the company.
