China's car ownership has grown rapidly in recent years.By December 2018,it has reached240 million vehicles,and people have gradually shifted their perspective to the development of automotive aftermarket business.As an important financial insurance business in the automotive aftermarket,Auto extended warranty was introduced to China by The Warranty Group in 2004,but its development is not smooth.Compared with developed countries,the market penetration rate is low,less than 5%.If reach 20%,the industry output value of automobile extended warranty will reach 150 billion yuan,which can greatly promote the common development of the insurance industry and the automotive industry.Major dealers,auto manufacturers,extended warranty companies,and insurance companies saw their development prospects and rushed to enter the extended warranty market,but the development situation was not satisfactory.C Insurance Company Chongqing Branch officially launched the automobile extended warranty business in 2016.Like most suppliers entering the market,there are various problems in the development process.Based on the perspective of insurance companies,this paper studies the problems existing in the development of automobile extended warranty business of C company and proposes countermeasures.Firstly,the overall development status of the domestic automobile extended warranty market will be introduced,including the related concepts of the extended warranty business,as well as the market competition situation,market size and distribution model.Then specifically study the development of the company's extended warranty business,describe its business development,product information,and cooperation channels,use the five-force model to analyze the market competition environment,and then use the questionnaire survey and interview form to C company 5 The management,20 sales staff and 155 extended insurance customers conducted research to sort out the problems of business management confusion,imperfect business promotion system and insufficient business team capacity.In response to the existing problems,the countermeasures and suggestions were proposed by improving the extended insurance business management system,formulating differentiated extended insurance business promotion strategies,and improving the extended warranty business service system.
