Research On Rural Community Elderly Service Under The Background Of Urbanization

As a large agricultural country,China has a large proportion of the elderly population in the rural areas.With the rapid development of the industrial economy,Zhangjiagang City also set off a wave of urbanization.The urban-rural junction around Zhangjiagang's urban area gradually changed from rural to urban.Zhangjiagang's cities expanded on a large scale,and the original rural land was requisitioned by the government.In order to better resettle the farmers who lost their farmland,the Zhangjiagang government conducted a unified plan to focus on building rural demolition and resettlement communities to resettle the farmers who lost the land.Because the population base of these rural demolition and resettlement communities is extremely large,the proportion of the elderly population accounts for the proportion of the total population of the demolition and resettlement communities is also particularly prominent.In the past traditional rural old-age care model,family old-age care is the main old-age care model in rural areas.The vast majority of the elderly in rural areas in their old age depend on their children to pay.With the changes of the times and the renewal of concepts,many young and middle-aged laborers in rural areas now choose to work or study in the city,and their young children also follow their parents to the city.The function of the traditional family pension model in rural areas is becoming weaker in the context of urbanization.Under the background of urbanization,carrying out the corresponding old-age service of rural demolition and resettlement communities should become the focus of rural communities.How to better meet the needs of elderly care services for the elderly in rural communities,and how to better optimize elderly care services in rural communities,will become the key to solving the problem of elderly care services in rural communities.The development of the rural community pension service model in China is very slow.Although the residents of the rural demolition and resettlement communities have been affected by the trend of urban modern life,they still retain many entrenched living and thinking habits in many rural areas.There are relatively more studies on elderly care services in urban communities,but less research on elderly care services in rural demolition and resettlement communities.The author will explore and supplement the research in this field through this article.By studying the elderly care services in the Danan community,we can find the problems and deficiencies in the current rural elderly care services,and draw on the successful experience of the rural community elderly care services in foreign countries and domestic advanced regions to better improve and optimize the rural communities in Zhangjiagang City.The old-age service provides some new ideas and references for exploring a new rural community old-age service model that is compatible with the current level of rural social and economic development in our city and can meet the diverse needs of old-age services in rural areas of our city.
