The Research On Project Management And Product Development Of O Company

Following the globalization evolving and market economy maturing,the market competition is getting incandescent.Therefore,how to effectively embrace and win the rival is becoming inevitable for every company,where develop the competitive products and service timely to market starting to play an essential role,the product development incorporated both Product Development Theory and Project Management Principles.This thesis is intended to discuss and analyze the challenges as well as tactics for Highrise elevator product development in O Company.This Paper,through the method of asking the question,analyze status,benchmark best practice and define corrective actions;integrating Integrated Product Development(IPD)and Project Management Professional(PMP)knowledge;come up with the improvements on product development process,portfolio management,program management,project governance and all knowledge areas of project management.To ensure the effectiveness of the improvements,the author further elaborated the execution assurance for the defined actions,e.g.attaining top management support,setting up continuous process improvement team,cross-team process execution and performance measurements of the corrective actions.
