Until the end of 2015, there were around 700 elevator companied which got the elevator manufacture license, the elevator market is becoming more and more competitive. In order to take the market opportunities and take more market share, each elevator companies decide to increase investment to develop new products. But, how to ensure the products meet market requirement and complete development quickly, achieve development project target, which need a reasonable and scientific project management process.This paper takes the room less elevator development project of X elevator company as a case to study, focus on project schedule delay issue. Deeply analyze the problems about project management through apply the project management theory and combined with the real problems in case. Use stakeholder identification model to define the real customer and understand customer requirements, finally to define the accurate scope of the project; Set up a reasonable organizational, It is the solid foundation to ensure the project implementation successfully; To establish a reasonable, feasible and scientific project schedule plan and comprehensive and timely project schedule control, it can ensure the project implementation correctly and achieve the project target.
