The Application Of ACE In The Development Process Of X High Rise Elevator Company

With the continuous development of the global economy,the international division and cooperation are more and more,and enterprise need meet the demand of different customers.And this is the big challenge to new product development process.But,at present,there are lots of problems in product development process for most of company,such as imperfect new product R&D process,long new product R&D schedule,chaos change management,lack of continuous improvement process and product quality,etc.Then based on current situation,the main problem is that how to provide a series of improvement solution.Firstly,this article introduces the history and current status of elevator industry,and also including the existing PDP procedure of X high rise elevator company.In the second part,mainly introduces the concept of ACE system(Achieving Competitive Excellence)and 12 tools,which leads to a few main issues in the existing product development process of ACE application: lack of customized product development process,more problems for on-standard product design,the lack of product design change management,and the company's existing new product development process can not meet the growing needs of the market.In view of the existing problems,based on own work experience and the company's current situation,author put forward a few improvement suggestions,and applied to real project management to achieved certain result.
