Since China's accession to the WTO(Nearly 20 years),China has participated in economic globalization actively and has become the world's second largest economy and trading country.Many foreign companies have seized the opportunity to invest and build factories and establish global purchasing centers in China.Economic development has achieved remarkable achievements.However,with the slowdown of global economic and trade expansion in recent years,European and American countries have turned back the manufacturing industry and turned to low-cost countries such as Southeast Asia gradually.Many factors have led foreign trade companies to face increasingly fierce competition.Therefore,how to improve the management ability and level of enterprises,to obtain a dominant position in a competitive environment,and to achieve sustainable development is a problem that cannot be ignored by the management of the enterprise.This paper takes MC foreign trade company as the research object,and on the basis of in-depth analysis of the internal and external environment and business status of the enterprise,three questions were raised,including supplier selection and classification system,performance evaluation and reward and punishment mechanism,and supplier relationship management system.The reasons for these problems are that there is no independent supplier management department,the leadership does not pay attention to the supplier relationship,there is no scientific supplier classification,the supplier selection criteria and process are unreasonable,and the supplier performance evaluation is not detailed.The supplier reward and punishment mechanism is not perfect.In the process of proposing the supplier management improvement strategy,this paper uses the supplier matrix classification method to divide the existing suppliers and integrate them with resources and quantity.In the supplier's selection evaluation and performance evaluation,Delphi is adopted.The expert consultation method sets the first-level indicator and the second-level indicator,and sets the corresponding weights.In order to ensure the smooth implementation of the supplier management optimization strategy,this paper provides safeguards from the leadership's strength,human resources support,and perfect supplier management system,so that MC can reduce procurement costs,improve product quality and delivery time.Improve service levels,increase customer stickiness,establish partnerships with more excellent suppliers,and ultimately improve the MC's comprehensive competitiveness.
