Abstract/Summary:
The supply chain incentive theory believes that the core enterprises in the supply chain management system can effectively improve the relationship between the participating companies in the supply chain by designing appropriate incentive mechanisms,and eliminate the performance management risks that may be caused by information asymmetry and adverse selection behaviors.In order to stimulate,guide,maintain and reasonably plan the behavior of all members of the supply chain,and achieve the development goal of mutual benefit and win-win with the core enterprises of the supply chain.However,in China’s supply chain relationship management and performance management practices,there are two types of situations that need to be improved: First,when the strength of the supply chain members is large,the supply chain core enterprises often adopt punitive management measures to provide supply chain participation members Enterprises bring greater pressure and lead to loss of enthusiasm.Second,when the strength of the members of the supply chain is equal,the disciplinary measures of the core enterprise will lead to the deterioration of the relationship between the members and conflicts,affecting the performance of the supply chain stability.This article believes that the effective way to solve the above problems is to start from the supplier’s own motivation and organizational behavior,based on the two dimensions of supplier relationship management and performance management,to build an incentive model under different circumstances.This article selects W company’s supply chain management as a case,and finds that the main reasons for W company’s supply chain are the decline in supplier delivery time rate and the increase of unqualified products,which is W company’s inappropriate supplier relationship management.In this paper,by combining Vroom expectation evaluation theory with supply chain relationship management,the relationship between enterprise behavior valence and its expected value is analyzed,and an incentive management model for enterprise supply chain participants with certain applicability is designed.Through the analysis of the current situation of W’s supplier performance management,based on Vroom expectation theory,the company’s supplier performance management was designed,and the following main conclusions were drawn:(1)Influencing factors of supplier performance management,It can be explained and defined by Vroom expectation theory.(2)For companies with unequal strength of members in the supply chain,companies in a controlling position not only perform performance evaluation,but also need to add incentives to guide and maintain long-term relationships.(3)For companies with equal strength,increasing the status of incentive measures will help improve the relationship between the two parties and solve the supply problem caused by the loss of enthusiasm of the company caused by performance evaluation.
