With the gradual improvement of the international financial environment and the increasing international market demand,the domestic foreign trade industry has a new vitality.However,the small and medium-sized foreign trade mainly relying on exporting labor-intensive products suffers a lot due to the changes in import and export tariffs,the increase in production materials and human capital.In this paper,JSC,a small and medium-sized foreign trade company,produces and exports elevator component products,facing how to to achieve the strategic goals of the enterprise by improving the current performance management.From the perspective of improving enterprise performance management,this paper studies the establishment of a performance management system and methods suitable for small and mediumsized foreign trade enterprises under the new economic conditions,and the research results have certain reference value for how to design and improve performance management of other similar foreign trade enterprises in China.First of all,through empirical study,using questionnaire and interview methods to analysis JSC current situation,find out the main factors that influence the company performance management,using the Interpretative Structural Modelling(ISM)to build rank structure factors affecting business performance management model,and clear the hierarchy relationship between various influencing factors to find out the key influence factors.Secondly,from the perspective of key factors,the author clarified the principles and overall thinking of performance management improvement.Taking JSC's key department-sales department as an example,the author proposed specific improvement strategies from the aspects of performance planning,implementation,assessment,feedback and application of results.Finally,the paper proposes the implementation strategy and safeguard measures for performance management improvement of JSC to ensure the smooth implementation of performance management improvement,so as to improve the overall performance of the company and achieve the strategic objectives of the enterprise.
