Study On Optimization Of ERP Driven Inventory Management In DHB Company

The key factors affecting the market competitiveness of enterprises are price,quality and service.One of the factors affecting the price is the cost.How to reduce the cost in each link of production to make the products more competitive is the reality that every enterprise participating in the market competition has to face.Today,with the rapid development of information technology,informatization plays a role in various enterprises more or less,and many enterprises have surpassed it with the help of various information systems.ERP system,PLM system,CRM system,SCM system,MES system,OA system are widely used in enterprises.Among them,EPR system is widely used in large and medium-sized enterprises,and DHB is one of them.Shenzhen DHB company is a manufacturer of die cutting,printing and screw products.The company launched the ERP system in 2012,but the benefits brought by the ERP system to the company are not satisfactory,especially in the aspect of inventory management.Overstock of finished products,low efficiency of warehouse operation,sluggish materials and shortage of materials production,all kinds of inventory management problems bring serious trouble to the company.The company urgently needs to optimize and improve the inventory management in order to cope with the increasingly severe market challenges.Analyze the problems such as sluggish materials,shortage of materials,backlog of finished products and low operating efficiency.In view of the shortage and stagnation of materials,based on the AHP theory and Yaahp software analysis,the company's current inventory structure of raw materials is unreasonable.Aiming at the low efficiency of warehouse operation,the conclusion is drawn through offline investigation that the low automation degree of ERP system,the lack of daily management performance assessment of warehouse and the delay of data entry are the reasons.Aiming at the problem of backlog of finished products,ERP data was analyzed based on data analysis method,mainly due to inaccurate demand forecasting and poor daily management.The inventory management optimization in this paper takes ERP system as the core to optimize the root cause of the above problems.Use ERP to automatically calculate the safety inventory of materials,control the flow of purchase order,purchase order and production order must be generated by ERP system,not allow manual input,in order to solve the problem of material stagnation and shortage;The exponential smoothing method is applied to demand forecasting and then ERP system is written.The ERP system automatically predicts the demand and basically solves the problem of sluggishfinished products.EDI function for ERP,data docking with customers and suppliers,and solve the problems of data entry delay and low efficiency of warehouse operation;Through the ERP system's automatic scanning function to improve the degree of automation;Finally,through the ERP system alarm function to the inventory management problems in the issue of alarm,inform the relevant personnel to solve as soon as possible.The inventory optimization plan in this paper combines the two main lines of ERP system optimization and offline management optimization,integrates the offline management thought into the ERP system,and finally realizes the goal of driving inventory management optimization through ERP system.
