Research On Optimization Of Inventory Management System And Application In TS Company

Along with the rapid development of scientific technology and the economy globalization among all country,the market competition has become ever severe.To try to persistently bring down the cost less effective than before,so we given such background,enterprises have to focus on integrating the both micro and macro supply chains,to combine the advantages of the up and down stream enterprises to achieve mutual progress.Besides,to participate in the entire management of the supply chain and control the stock shall bring more advantages in competition and such way has been used and spread in current enterprises management.The system of modern enterprise stock management is based on the management of the supply chain,adding the support of modern information technology,as well as the features of the products,to create a dynamic,highly efficient,practical and visible management system over the entire inventory monitoring and controlling.Enterprises can make use of the data to understand the input and output of both raw materials and final products,as well as the “on-route” information,adding the suitable adjustment,enterprises shall achieve the great harmony between production and inventory,to keep inventory as less as possible.Such method shall bring down the management cost to the utmost level,to ensure the efficiency of the total supply chains,all links work closely and will optimize costs,to achieve a win-win and multi-win situation,the all-round optimization of the inventory management system.This thesis based on TS Company(A branch electronic products manufacturing company of a foreign invested brand),to study into its current situation of inventory,to find out its problems as well as the main factors that affects its inventory management system.At the same time,to fully analyze its production requirement,supply chain,including purchasing,logistics and other factors,to ensure its normal daily operation but will bring down its inventory level,to comb its operation and management procedures and will optimize them.This thesis will research deeply into its production procedures,organization settings,material classification,means of purchasing,etc,to discuss about how to progress,and give suggestions to improve.We will combine the theory of supply chain and purchasing management and the annual index of TS company,to enrich its analysis over its inventory management,to find out the optimization potentialities,to achieve an overall advancement for supply chain efficiency and cost-saving target.Sincerely we hope this thesis shall help other manufacturing firms regarding their inventory and supply chain management.
