Under the Internet environment,the realization of new retail that complements the advantages of offline physical stores and online e-commerce has become a new format in the business field.It has further intensified the industry competition of offline retail companies.Therefore,the offline retail industry must accelerate its transformation.But now the competition method of enterprises is no longer single.Enterprises are increasingly focusing on value maximization rather than profit maximization.Therefore,the value chain as a theory that runs through the development of the enterprise and can create more value for the enterprise has attracted more attention from enterprise managers.As an indispensable part of enterprise transformation strategy,financial strategy research and analysis of financial strategy in the process of enterprise transformation in the industry has extremely important practical significance for enterprise transformation.Therefore,the study of corporate financial strategy from the perspective of the value chain meets the needs of economic development at this stage.In this paper,a breakthrough is selected for a transformation road that is different from the conventional old-line offline retail DS company as a case study company.By analyzing its internal and external value chains and financial strategic operations,comparing the implementation of the financial strategy of DS company's before and after transformation,and comparing the industry's competitive companies and industry averages,it is found that there are financial risks caused by diversified development strategies and increased corporate credit financing,low management level of enterprise value chain information system,etc.Based on the actual business situation of the enterprise,it proposes a perfect method of its financial strategy from the perspective of the value chain,improves the core competitiveness of the enterprise,and ensures the ability of the enterprise to continuously create value.There are six parts in this article.The first part is an introduction,which explains the background and significance of the topics selected in this article,briefly summarizes the relevant research conclusions of the value chain and financial strategy at home and abroad,establishes the research framework of this article and proposes the research methods and innovations of this article;The second part is the definition of related concepts and theoretical overview,which mainly summarizes the relevant theories of this article,including value chain theory,performance evaluation theory,etc;The third part takes DS company as an example and analyzes based on the internal and external value chain,It also introduces the choice of DS company's financial strategy guided by value chain;The fourth part is mainly to evaluate the financial strategy implemented by DS company under the value chain;The fifth part is to explore the problems and solutions of DS company's financial strategy based on the content of the first two parts;The sixth part summarizes the research content and the achievements of this article.This article hopes to provide DS companies with financial strategy-related information when they plan their financial strategy in the future and their peers in the industry eager to transform,to help other non-transformed retail enterprises to transform.
