A Study On The Coupling And Coordination Of Operation Efficiency And Location Advantage Of Star Rated Tourist Hotels In China

As an important member of China's hotel industry,star-rated tourist hotels have great influence on China's hotel industry due to their operating efficiency and location advantages.Starrated tourist hotel is a representative of the hotel industry competitiveness of a certain country and region,and also one of the important indicators to measure the development of tourism.Draw lessons from foreign and domestic scholars research results in this paper,selection of China's 31 provinces(not including Hong Kong,Macao and Taiwan,all in Chinese),2000-2016 stars tourist hotel related data,through the DEA-BCC and Malmquist model respectively from the Angle of static and dynamic Chinese stars tourist hotel management efficiency according to the time and space two clues for space-time difference analysis.Then in a five-star hotel,for example,using the related data in 2016,according to the theory of new economic geography three geographical nature [1],superposition of square root model,calculation of China's 31 provinces,location advantages and according to the degree of value to calculate the location advantage of type research degrees value will be stars tourist hotel,comprehensive evaluation research of stars tourist hotel location advantages.Finally,according to the coupling coordination model,this paper discusses the coordination between the operation efficiency and the location superiority of star-rated tourist hotels,and analyzes it in different coordination zones.In order to better grasp the development of the operating efficiency of star-level tourist hotels in China,and then take more reasonable measures to promote the healthy development of star-level tourist hotels.According to the research analysis,the following conclusions are drawn:(1)In terms of operating efficiency,Chinese star-rated tourist hotels are at a relatively high level.In terms of the variation characteristics and correlation of volatility,the comprehensive technical efficiency shows a trend of increasing volatility,and a strong correlation with the increase of scale efficiency,while a small correlation with the trend of pure technical efficiency.This shows that in the past 16 years,the main factor to promote the comprehensive efficiency comes from the scale efficiency,that is,during the observation period,the comprehensive efficiency of the development of China's star-rated tourist hotels still stays in the rough development mode of expanding the scale.The improvement of pure technical efficiency in the development of star-rated tourist hotels has not played a key role in promoting the development and overall efficiency in the past 16 years.Index of all factors of production is low and presents the downward trend,higher than that of the northwest southeast region,the regional total factor productivity index average is low,index of average performance is increasing with technical efficiency,pure technical efficiency and scale efficiency,by contrast,the mean performance index is technological progress for the downward trend.(2)In terms of location advantage degree,this article is a five-star tourist hotel as an example,the Chinese star tourist hotel integrated location advantage as a whole from the east,the central region is higher than that of the western region,eastern coastal several provinces,the Yangtze river economic belt and the Yellow River basin comprehensive five-star tourist hotel location advantage prominent,the development of regional economy,the rapid development of the rich resources and traffic for the development of hotel industry provides a good foundation for the region;The spatial distribution of Chinese star-rated tourist hotels with different location types is relatively complicated: the resource-location advantage type has relatively rich tourism resources in the middle and lower reaches of the Yangtze river basin and the Yellow River basin,and the resource-location advantage is relatively prominent.The overall distribution of transportation location advantage shows that the location advantage of the provinces is High East and low West and the provice with developed economy is higher than that of the provinces with less developed econom,and the traffic location advantage is more prominent.On the whole,the eastern coastal areas are relatively high,represented by Beijing,Shanghai and guangdong.As a whole,the market location advantage type shows that the market location advantage of provinces with large population flow is higher than that of provinces with small population flow.(3)China star international tourist hotel management efficiency and location advantages on coupling coordination whole presents the "northwest southeast high-low,from southeast to northwest gradually less coordination characteristics,the star class hotel management efficiency and location advantages system interaction and mutual influence,has formed four coordinated regional and present the more complex situation.Finally,according to the research results and the actual situation,some relevant Suggestions are put forward to improve the operation efficiency and coupling coordination degree of star-rated tourist hotels.
