| Star-rated hotels are the mainstay of China’s hotel industry.Their comprehensive efficiency not only reflects the efficiency of the hotel industry,but also relates to the development of China’s tourism industry.The rapid development in recent years,the stability of the national economy,tourism rapid growth in the number of the hotel industry market demand increases,star hotel guest room number,the number of employed,fixed assets and other inputs and great changes have taken place,to what extent these inputs into the corresponding output,its share of the input and output on time sequence can change what kind of steady development,a province star hotel star hotel industry in China how to,and so on are the competitive position in the key problem is a very worth exploring.Based on the importance and development status of star-rated hotels in China and the existing research results of domestic and foreign scholars,this paper makes further analysis and research on the efficiency level of star-rated hotels in all provinces of China.First,using classical nonparametric method DEA,use the hotel guest room number,practitioners,fixed assets as input index variable,operating income,guest room occupancy as output index variables,choose star hotel data in China from 2008 to 2017 as sample,build the input and output index system,it is concluded that the provinces in China domain star hotel comprehensive efficiency,pure technical efficiency and scale efficiency value,by Malmquist productivity index to observe the efficiency value of dynamic change,according to the results of the analysis found that most of the provinces domain star hotel efficiency values in our country in the DEA invalid state,The efficiency variation rules of each province are also different.Secondly,according to the efficiency of the empirical results using Tobit regression model combined with mathematical method,from the internal and external seven dimensions on the detailed analysis of the factors influencing the efficiency of the hotel,the results show that the human capital,property right structure,hotel scale,the level of national income,foreign open degree,tourism development situation and the competition degree of star hotel these seven factors comprehensive efficiency,pure technical efficiency and scale efficiency has different effects;Finally,according to the regression results,the paper puts forward six countermeasures and Suggestions on how to improve the efficiency of star-rated hotels in China.In this paper,DEAP2.1,FRONTIER4.1,STATA and other software were used to analyze and study the efficiency of star hotels in various provinces and cities in China by DEA,Malmquist productivity index,regression analysis and other methods in the process of writing.Some innovations were made in the research methods and perspectives,hoping to provide references for the hotel industry in China. |
